Can Female Dating Advice Ruin Our Chances with a Woman?

Did you know that women actually buy 70% of the books and programs in the dating and relationship category?

In fact, when I first started helping men with dating, I was surprised when a lot of women started seeking me out for dating advice even though I was only offering to help men.

And the strangest thing is that a lot of the women I talked to didn't realize that men even needed help with dating...

True story haha =)

I was shocked the first time I heard a woman say she didn't understand why men needed help with dating...

Here's the thing:

The truth is that men generally need MUCH more help than women when it comes to relationships...

Yet women are generally the ones who are always trying to learn more about it.

And because women already have an advantage when it comes to dating and relationships (it's their "turf" so to speak) the fact that they're more open to learning widens the gap even more.

That's why it's so awesome that you're here with us right now:

The few guys out there who are dedicated to learning about this stuff are the ones who will be the most successful with women.

And the ones who have the best chance of being happy while avoiding unnecessary pain and suffering.

So, stick with us and keep learning and growing as much as you can...

Because if women already have the leg up on us and they're always out there learning more, that means we have to do everything we can to have a chance of winning this game (and when you win, women win too if you do it right).

Plus, even "naturals" are at risk if they don't protect themselves from attracting the wrong women.

So, we're going to make sure we attract the right woman in addition to applying what works when it comes to increasing female attraction and love.

That's what we're focused on around here...

Now, on the female side of things, there's a book out there for women called The Rules...

It basically teaches women how to play "the game."

And guess what?

It came out WAY before The Game by Neil Strauss...

In fact, it was published all the way back in 1995.

And, since then, a barrage of similar books for women like He's Just Not That Into You have also come out...

And many of them teach women to IGNORE men who don't chase them.

So, should you be a challenge with women or should you chase them?

And, is it a good idea to talk to women about attractive principles or not?

Well, one of my top clients (and a good friend now) wrote me an email recently that touched on these topics:

"Jim,

Total pleasure to read your new book; thanks!

BTW, I was discussing some of these ideas with my GF and she seems to think that these concepts are in conflict with relationship advice found in women's relationship books...

She specifically cites "He's just not that into you."

Allegedly in that book women are encouraged to ignore men who don't chase (after all, he's just not that into you... etc).

I have not read the book so perhaps she is misreading the messages there. Could be an interesting thing to address though in a newsletter or in a book/workshop targeted at women.

What's really going on here?

Here's how I responded:

Should you ask women for dating advice?

J.B.,

First of all, great to hear from you...

Secondly, yes, both He's Just Not That Into You and The Rules encourage women not to chase men and show them how to play "the game."

And, as you might imagine, I have a lot of thoughts about this...in fact, I knew about The Rules long before The Game came out.

Here are a few free-form thoughts:

1. If you talk to women about attraction principles, 70% of the time they won't agree that they would work on them or on "good" women...

Even though they do.

See, women are CONSISTENT in their dating behaviors.

And, just like most of us don't truly understand why we really make purchasing decisions, most women don't truly understand why they choose to stay with one man vs. another.

They just do it and then rationalize why they did it later. <==By the way, this is also how people make purchases for the most part...

We all have an idea of they way we want things to work that might conflict with how things actually work in life.

Or, we might just not be aware of how things work.

Sometimes things that seem like they make sense are completely wrong. And sometimes counter-intuitive things are correct.

And many times we have strong feelings attached to the way we think things are or want them to be.

So, unless you have an honest sister or cousin or someone who cares a lot about you and is super self-aware and cool, most women either don't know or like how things really work.

And that's one big reason why women are not usually a good source to go to for dating advice even though it would seem that asking them would be a good idea. With few exceptions, it's not.

Plus, some "truths" about male/female dynamics aren't completely socially acceptable so it can hard for women (and us sometimes) to talk about this subject openly and honestly.

And, by the way, this isn't just about women...

It's not a good idea to ask most people for dating advice in general.

After all, if most people truly understood this stuff, we wouldn't have so much trouble with dating or so many relationship problems.

I've spent over 20 years focusing on this area of life and I'm still learning new things every day.

So, you really have to work to get to the truth of what works when it comes to attracting a woman and building a healthy relationship with her.

That's why I'm here.

2. If a woman is actually interested enough in a man, she will still chase him if given enough challenge...

Even if she's read every book out there for women.

Plus, she doesn't have to "chase you" - all she has to do is say yes to your date invitations consistently, kiss you back every time you go for a kiss etc.

It's not chasing when you ask a woman for her number or ask her out; taking these ACTIONS shows your interest but does not constitute chasing.

Texting her too much too soon and asking her out on the next date too soon are chasing.

So, if you are SHOWING a woman that you have interest by asking her out on dates, she has no reason to suspect you're not for real, even if she follows "The Rules."

You're just not rushing into rejection like most men do.

And every woman, even if she's read these female dating books, will be turned off if you start chasing her a lot.

On the other hand, I agree with a woman ignoring/dropping a man who waits 10 days or more to text her after a date; that's too long...

But if a guy is consistently asking a woman out on a date and then waiting 4-8 days after each date to ask her on the next one, he IS showing his interest in her in an attractive way and he is also NOT chasing her.

And a woman with genuine interest in him will keep accepting his date invitations even if she's read all those dating books for women.

Because that's what a woman being interested in a man means: She wants to see him and shows it through her ACTIONS (accepting and showing up for dates consistently).

Here's the positive side of this:

If a woman is reading books like He's Just Not That Into You and/or The Rules...

It means she WANTS to be in a relationship with a man (unlike if she's reading some other female dating advice like some subreddits that teach women how to be better gold diggers LOL - the Attract and Keep Her System weeds these women out automatically while attracting the right woman for you at the same time).

She's looking for a good guy she can fall in love with; she just doesn't want to get burned in the dating game.

And, once she meets a man she's genuinely interested in, her automatic behaviors and hormones will take over.

Most women WILL chase you a bit, in some small way at least, if they are genuinely interested in you and you don't chase them (and you still take small measured steps forward as you LEAD the process of dating).

Plus, while 4-8 days might seem like a long time to wait before you ask a woman out on the next date to you, women generally understand that it takes a while to get to know someone and it doesn't seem so long to them.

3. If a woman doesn't respond positively to you being a challenge (simply not chasing her), it can only mean 1 of 3 things:

A. She's not interested enough in you (would she chase Brad Pitt if she thought she had a real chance with him but wasn't 100% sure? Yep)...

B. She doesn't have a flexible attitude. <==This is one of the two most important requirements in a female personality for long-term male happiness: flexible attitude and giving mindset.

If she's not flexible or interested in you, she's not a good choice anyway and being a challenge will filter her OUT. <==Read 3X...

C. She has some other agenda for wanting to date you and you are frustrating her plans (clearly, this is also a GOOD thing)...

If she does have a flexible attitude and she's genuinely interested in you, she will actually ENJOY chasing you and thinks you being a challenge is flirting/romance.

I mean, think about it like this:

The ideal relationship is one where your wife is still chasing you playfully around the dinner table after 50 years of marriage. =)

A woman who really likes you interprets you being a challenge as romantic.

So, if you want to be romantic, give her CHALLENGE; don't give her flowers.

4. Even though attractive principles say NEVER chase, you still LEAD...

So, you're going to ask her out on a date (again)...

You're just not going to do it for a while after each date (4-8 days) and you're not going to keep asking her out if she turns down your invite.

There's a huge difference between leading and chasing.

So, again, a woman doesn't have to chase you either; she just has to keep saying yes to your spaced-out date invites, kiss you back, etc.

You're going to lead; you're just also going to be a challenge in-between your forward steps.

And you're not going to chase her. You just keep taking one step forward, pulling back, and then taking one more step forward.

Taking slow, measured steps forward by asking her out, having fun with her, and then waiting 4-8 days before you ask her out again is leading; rushing into rejection as fast as you can by texting her too much, asking her out too soon after a date, etc. is CHASING.

See the difference?

And, she can chase you in subtle ways too; for example, when she taps your arm after you make a joke, that's chasing on a small-scale.

So, a woman will ignore a man who doesn't chase them IF they aren't flexible or if they have low interest level. And they don't need a book to tell them to do this. =)

On the other hand, if a woman likes a guy enough and has a good attitude, she will chase him or at least respond positively when he slowly leads things forward no matter what a book tells her to do.

Or her family.

Or her friends.

NOTHING can stop her.

He is pulling her in and pushing her away at the same time - this is what drives women crazy for a man. And this means he is not chasing her and he's still showing interest in the most attractive way possible - this combo makes the advice in these books irrelevant.

Now, I may give seminars or sell products to women at some point...

Financially, that would be a very smart decision.

However, I think men need more help at the moment and I think I can do the most good by focusing on teaching men right now.

On the other hand, when it comes to advising women, I really like Matthew Hussey's idea of "dropping the handkerchief." <==Yep, I research the other side of things too...

He's basically saying that if women made it a little easier for us to approach them initially, they would get the attention of "normal" guys more often instead of just the "players," or PUA's that have the courage or experience to go talk to them.

I agree with this idea...basically he advises women NOT to be easy, but to be easy in the first 30 seconds. Brilliant.

So, should you ask women for dating advice?

Usually not.

And should you chase a woman?

Never.

Remember: Always lead, never chase.

Ancient Greek Wisdom that Makes Women Want You...

Whenever you notice a woman you're attracted to, two things are required to attract her...

First, you have to have the COURAGE required to:

1. Start a conversation with her...

2. Ask for her number...

3. Ask her out...

4. Go for a kiss...

5. Ask her to be your girlfriend/wife...

Etc.

That's the first part of INTERNAL STRENGTH that you must have to be successful with any particular woman.

However, today's topic is about the second part of INTERNAL STRENGTH that you need to successfully attract a woman:

Not only do you need the courage to start the journey with a woman, you also need SELF-CONTROL to make it all the way to your destination...

These 2 parts of internal strength are both necessary. If one is missing, you will run into problems.

You use courage to pull a woman by starting a conversation with her, ask her out, and go for a kiss...

Then, you use self-control to push her away a bit by sitting back and waiting and being a challenge in-between dates so her interest in you can increase (this is hard to do when you have strong feelings for a woman - this is a big part of why it works and why it's so attractive to wait before you ask her out again; it takes a lot of internal strength).

Just like our Greek heroes Jason and Odysseus controlled themselves to get past the Sirens in spite of their irresistibly seductive songs.

Jason, Odysseus, and Your Success with Women...

In Greek mythology, Jason and his Argonauts and Odysseus and his crew had to avoid the temptation of the Sirens and their alluring songs as they sailed by them in their ships if they wanted to make it to their destinations...

And they used different tactics to control themselves and avoid destruction:

Jason brought Orpheus along to play music louder and more beautifully than the songs of the Sirens so that they wouldn't get pulled into destruction.

On the other hand, Odysseus was a little more of a risk-taker:

He wanted to hear the songs of the Sirens and still control himself somehow...

So, he had his crew plug their own ears with beeswax and then tie him to the mast of his ship so he physically couldn't go anywhere when he heard the tempting cries of the beautiful Sirens as they sailed past them.

And, when he heard them sing, it was SO beautiful and inviting that he ordered his men to untie him so he could go to them...

But they didn't listen and tied him to the mast even tighter instead.

And, because they helped him control himself, they made it past the Sirens and eventually made it to their destination.

So what does this all have to do with you and attracting women?

Well, when it comes to dating women, in order to make it "all the way home" instead of getting destroyed somewhere along the way, we have to control ourselves and avoid our own extremely tempting Siren song.

And what is the Siren song we have to avoid if we want to be successful with women?

The temptation to give in and just call her, just text her one more time, just ask her out again right away, etc.

This siren song is an illusion that sounds so so good in the moment but can easily lead to destruction...

In fact, it destroys most men along their path with women they really like; that's a major reason why most women are not deeply in love with their boyfriends and husbands and why most men don't make it all the way home with a woman in the first place.

Listen, it's difficult to resist the tricks your mind tries to play on you when you have high interest in a woman...

However, if we want a woman to fall deeply in love with us, we MUST find a way to control ourselves in the face of this false urgency so we can reap the sweet rewards that come to those who can be a challenge and who can sit back and wait a bit even when they have high interest in a woman.

When you get a woman's number or you go out on a date or two with her and you really like her, you're in danger of getting pulled into your own destruction by the Siren song of your high interest in her...

And you absolutely MUST control yourself if you want her to keep dating you and/or fall deeply in love with you.

Because internal value (confidence, self-worth, & self-esteem), self-control (part of internal strength along with courage), and challenge are what women really want (makes them raise their romantic interest in a man over time).

If you already own The Good Guy Guide or the Attract and Keep Her System, then you already have a dating strategy that works...

The question is this:

Do you have the self-control to stick to an effective dating strategy no matter how much you like a particular woman?

Or, will you get destroyed by the seductive pull of the Siren song inside your head?

It's pretty easy to follow the plan when you kind of like a woman...

It's much more difficult to stick to it when you really like a woman.

And that's when it counts the most.

So the only difference between these two situations is YOUR LEVEL OF INTEREST in a woman...

It has nothing to do with her.

And it's easy to rationalize that "this woman is different and/or special" and abandon the plan when you're under the spell of high interest.

So your own high interest tempting you to lose control of yourself and abandon your effective strategy is the Siren song you must avoid on your dating journey so you can make it all the way home with your ideal woman.

If you can control yourself, you can make it all the way to your destination with the women you're most attracted to...

If not, you'll crash and burn.

So, I highly encourage you to do whatever it takes to stay patient and disciplined and control yourself with the women you want most:

Wanna send that last little "texty-text" that you know you shouldn't?

Don't.

Want to ask her out again the very next day after you had a great date with her because you're connecting so well with her and she's so awesome and she's so hot and you're pretty sure she likes you too plus you don't want her to be upset with you or choose someone else because you waited too long and why not?

Don't.

This is the revolution guys...

While everyone else is chasing her, we are giving her what she wants and needs: CHALLENGE.

And that's why she chooses us. =)

Want to ask her to be your girlfriend or marry you on the first date (or any time before she brings up the topic of being in a relationship with you / getting married to you)?

Don't.

Want to ask her out again right away after you just went on an amazing first or second date?

Don't.

Attract her properly instead...

Give her the gift of LASTING attraction and the feeling of falling in LOVE with you if you want to be in a relationship with her.

Sit back, be patient, and wait.

Be that (internally) strong man you are capable of being for her.

Let things play out.

Let nature take its course.

Let time work for you instead of against you.

And then, at the right time, use courage again to ask her out again.

Just don't do it too soon or you'll crash right into the rocks of rejection.

Yes, even if she's very interested in you...

We want to make it ALL THE WAY HOME, not get stranded somewhere along the way.

Especially if the woman we're dating is amazing.

And here's the thing:

Being patient and disciplined and controlling yourself doesn't mean waiting forever or never taking action...

It just means waiting until the RIGHT TIME.

So do whatever it takes to stick to your effective dating and relationship strategy no matter how much you like a woman.

Work on your internal strength in general and self-control specifically.

Maybe this newsletter is like Orpheus - you can replay the words you read here in your head LOUDER than the temptation you feel to give up your self-control and go off your path with a woman...

Or maybe you need to put "bees wax" in your ears by silencing the notifications on your phone or by putting your phone in another room so you're not tempted to text a woman too much...

Or, maybe you need to "tie yourself to the mast of your ship" by creating a life that's deeply meaningful to you and a life that you love no matter what happens with any particular woman so you can control yourself when you need to.

Do whatever it takes to control yourself so that you can reap the REWARDS at the end of the journey.

After all, if you end up married to your ideal woman for 50 years, 2-3 months of dating before you make it official and 2 years of dating before you get married is NOTHING.

Especially if it means that your ideal woman falls and stays deeply in love with you instead of losing interest and leaving you at some point...

So use COURAGE to start the journey and at each point along the way and then use SELF-CONTROL in-between to make sure you make it all the way home.

Those are two of the six pillars of INTERNAL STRENGTH, which is one of the four male qualities that make women want you.

And, to help you APPLY today's lesson in your real life, here's a simple way to practice self-control that will help you remain patient and disciplined with women:

Go to a restaurant and order your absolute favorite food in the world...

Then, when the food comes or when you get home with your take-out, force yourself to wait 10 minutes before you take your first bite.

And, while you're waiting, try to make yourself feel comfortable.

Feel your intense desire for the meal completely while you just try to stay relaxed and take deep breaths.

Then, when the 10 minutes are up, slowly take your first bite and then slowly eat your meal. Savor it.

And, if you want to challenge yourself even more, do it when you're already really hungry.

This practice trains your brain to feel deep desire and still wait to take action at the same time, which is exactly what you need to do if you want to be successful with women.

Remember: You're not waiting FOREVER to take a bite; just a few minutes.

Just like when you ask a woman out:

You're not waiting forever...just a few days.

Because you know she needs time and space away from you in-between dates to think about you and to fall in love with you.

That's when the "magic" happens inside her mind.

The only question is this: Do you have a way to allow her this time and space?

If not, find one.

Because it's the best thing for you AND her.

Attract Your Ideal Woman Using FRACTIONATION...

Imagine for a second a guy standing at the starting line of a marathon or a 5k, full of anticipation...

And then, when the gun goes off to start the race, he starts sprinting full speed and tries to keep sprinting the whole time.

What do you think will happen?

Will he make it through the whole race at that pace?

Highly doubtful. =)

He will either have to slow down or he will collapse at some point.

Now imagine for a moment going to Costco where they have lots of fun free samples spread out around the store to try out different food and drink items to see if you might want to buy some...

Except that, for today only, every single aisle has samples but instead of the normal bite-sized samples, the friendly Costco employees are all serving full 7-course meals with a full sample item as the main course or beverage. And you have to eat it all if you want any.

God forbid if you want to try 2 samples. =)

Well, these two thought experiments show us how most men approach dating...

And here's the thing:

A woman falling and staying deeply in love with you is a marathon...

And, even if you just want hookups, it's better to attract a woman using smaller bites over the course of a night or 2-3 dates than to start sprinting right out of the gate (it's still more like a 5k than a 100-meter dash).

This concept is called "fractionation" and it will help you with hookups or with a long-term relationship.

It can be applied over the course of an evening if you want to spike a woman's attraction to you quickly or, if you want a woman to truly be deeply in love with you, it can be applied over the course of 2-3 months.

It even applies to business and other areas of life as well; the average consumer sees an offer 7 times before they actually buy something...

So why would dating be any different?

I mean we're dealing with human psychology here.

So, instead of taking things so personally, zoom out a bit, look at it from the female perspective, and start applying to this idea when you're out there dating, especially if you really like a woman so she can feel the same about you (assuming she has some initial interest in you to begin with).

I mean, if I wanted to sell the BEST car in the world, it still might take someone seeing it 7 times before they actually go for it...

So why would we be so arrogant to think that a woman can see us once or twice and be fully ready to buy even if we're the most amazing guy on the planet (yes, sometimes it's like that for us, but women tend to fall in love slower)?

Here's the thing:

If a woman is attracted to you / interested in you and you apply the concept of fractionation properly, you have the best chance of ending up in her bedroom or of becoming her boyfriend or husband.

And, most men want to sprint when they have high interest in a woman; so, it's my job to train you to be an expert middle and long-distance runner.

We're still running and moving forward; we're just maintaining the pace that works with women.

And we're not going to force-feed a woman our entire being to a woman in one serving...

We're going to give her a little bit of ourselves at a time until she can't help but buy what we're selling. Kind of like Costco. =)

Fractionation just means that we tend to do much better with a woman if we see her 7 times for 1 hour over the course of 7 weeks than if we spend that same 7 hours with her on the first date...

It also means that we tend to better with a woman if we take her to 2-3 places for a shorter amount of time in an evening before we invite her back to our place than if we stay at one place for a long time and then invite her over to our place if we're just going for hookups.

And, as the leader in this "dance," it's your job to understand this process and facilitate it for her, especially if you really like her instead of trying to sprint to the end of the marathon, leaving both of you gasping for air.

Attract Your Ideal Woman Using FRACTIONATION...

So, here's how you do it whether you want an amazing woman to fall deeply in love with you or you just want to go home with that gorgeous woman standing next to the bar:

1. If you meet a woman at a friend's party or a wedding, and you know she will be there for a while...

...go up to her and start a conversation. Then, after a few minutes, excuse yourself.

Then, after some time passes, start talking to her again.

And then ask for her number during your second conversation with her.

You can't always do things this way because we don't usually know if we will see a woman again or not (so ask for her number during your first conversation in almost all cases), but it's better for you if you have 2 shorter conversations with her that same night than one long one.

This is fractionation in action.

Small bits at a time go down easier than a full meal.

Same thing goes if you're in a university class with a woman:

You know you will keep seeing her every week, so we should wait a bit longer than normal before we ask for her number and ask her out...

Maybe not the whole semester, but asking for her number after 2-4 weeks is better in this case than doing it immediately after your first class with her because you will definitely see her again so we don't need to rush (you can get her number right away and that can work of course. It's just better for you and her if you're able to do it later when you will keep seeing each other again for sure. Either way, getting her number and asking her out at any point is infinitely better than never doing it).

And now let's branch this concept off based on your goals...

If you want a long-term relationship:

2. Make the first date SHORT and sweet...

You don't need to put yourself on a timer that goes off during the date or anything, but 45 minutes to 1 hour is perfect for a first date.

Try not to let it go on longer than that.

This is your first, smallest sample of yourself that you're offering her after your initial conversation with her or after meeting her online.

So, give her the most delicious, small piece of being with you that makes her want more of that.

She should feel like she didn't quite get enough of you vs. getting tired of you.

Remember: The goal is to make it to the 3rd date (and then dates 6-10 where she's fully in love with you if you do everything right), NOT to make the first date as long as possible.

And, yes, even (especially) if both of you are really connecting and having a good time.

Lead this marathon; don't try to sprint face-first into rejection like most men do.

Give her a good sample of you; don't ask her to eat the whole tub of ice cream immediately.

That's why I suggest coffee dates or meeting for a happy hour for your first date; these kinds of dates make it easy to leave after 45 minutes to an hour without making things awkward...

Dinner takes a lot longer and nobody can leave until the meal is finished and the bill is paid. Plus, you're both stuck there staring across the table at each other - with coffee you can go for a walk if you want.

So, save dinner and similar kinds of dates for the 4th date and beyond if at all possible. Be creative so you can finish the whole marathon vs. sprinting and losing momentum at some point.

3. Space out your dates...

You shouldn't be going on a date with the same woman more than once a week or so.

Go have a great time with her (give her an amazing sample), wait 4-8 days, and then ask her out for your next date...

Then, give her another small sample (the first 3 dates shouldn't be too long).

No full day or even half day trips, no "dinner and a movie" dates.

Remember: Always leave them wanting more...

That doesn't just apply to show business; it 100% applies to female psychology.

I mean, what we want is for her to show up for your 3rd and then your 6th date...

And, if she already got all of you before that and you tell her all about yourself on the phone vs. saving that for when you see her in person...

...then why does she need to keep going on dates with you?

Exactly.

She doesn't.

And, most of the time, she eventually won't keep going out with you.

The only time this works is when she either has super high interest in you right away so you break even with this "too much too soon approach" or she has some issues that don't allow her to relate in a healthy way so she's okay with this unhealthy, unattractive approach.

If a woman has a normal level of romantic interest in you and she's relatively psychologically healthy, you will never win this way.

Seeing a woman once every 7-10 days or so until you get to 10 dates over the course of 3 months is MUCH better for both of you than hanging out 10 times in 2 weeks.

Even if you spend the exact same amount of time together (this is what fractionation means).

This is true unless, of course, you don't want her to fall deeply in love with you.

Then go ahead and sprint for that finish line and see if you make it. =)

If a woman has genuine interest in you to begin with, she's relatively psychologically stable, and you use fractionation, she WILL increase her interest level in you more and more over time until she falls deeply in love with you (interest level 9/10 or higher).

Just make sure you follow everything we cover inside Attract and Keep Her and you will finish the marathon with a smile on your face and energy left over. Guaranteed.

Now, here's how to apply fractionation if you're just going for hookups:

2. Take her to more than one place...

So, if you meet her at a bar, take her to 2-3 more bars after that if you can and then invite her to your place or see if she wants to go to hers.

The strange thing about fractionation is that if you take her to 2-3 places vs. spending the same amount of time at one place, she will feel like she has known you a lot longer, which makes her feel more comfortable with you, which makes it much more likely that she will go home with you and hook up with you (assuming you are also building attraction with her).

You can also do this on your first or second date if it's not possible when you first meet her:

Grab a coffee and head out for a walk. Then, stop in somewhere for a drink or a snack. Then, invite her over etc. vs. just sitting at dinner or a coffee shop for 1.5 hours and then saying, "Wanna get outta here?"

Or, grab an ice cream and stark walking with her toward your place if there's a nice path or something on the way. Then, take her to a bar near your place along that path for one happy hour drink and a snack. Then tell her you have something cool to show her at your place and that it's nearby. Etc.

Fractionation makes this smoother and easier and makes it much more likely she will come back to your place.

Alternatively, you can take her on a short first date and then invite her over to your place after your second or third date depending on the woman and the situation.

Fractionation can work in one evening or over the course of 2-3 dates when it comes to hook ups.

And, when you invite her to your place, just have something interesting you legitimately want to show her (a unique coffee table book, a piece of art, etc. - find something cool that you can use for this purpose and prepare your place by making sure it's clean before you go out or go meet up with her) and invite her over so you can show her that thing and take it from there once she's at your place.

3. Start the date at your place if you can...

If you're just going for hookups one effective thing you can do if it's possible and she will agree is to ask her to meet at your place before you go out on your date...

Then, once she's there, just tell her: "Hey, I have to finish getting ready real quick. Make yourself at home. 2 minutes..."

Let her get used to sitting on your couch for a couple minutes (don't do this too long).

Then, after a short time, tell her you're ready and lead her out the door.

If you do this, she will feel a lot more comfortable coming to your place after your date (and her car is already there unless you live in a city with good public transport) so it's easy and convenient for her to come in for "just a bit."

This is fractionation because she feels more comfortable at your place if she sees it for 2 minutes before your date and then comes over after as well than if she just comes over after your date for 2 hours.

So, if you can pull this off, it makes things better for both of you.

And you can also do this on dates 2 or 3 depending on the situation.

Just make sure you follow the steps inside The Good Guy Guide on your date and once she's back at your place after your date and you'll be GOLDEN (and so will she - winners all around).

And, as a general rule, whenever you can break up bigger blocks of time into smaller ones when it comes to attracting a woman, DO IT.

Because fractionation is the way to a woman's bedroom and/or her heart. =)

The Emperor's Secret to Attracting Women...

Augustus, the great Emperor of Rome and the man who defeated Mark Antony and Cleopatra, had a motto:

Festina lente...

And it basically means to "make haste slowly..."

Later, the Medici family adopted this motto as well.

And now, military special forces have adapted it for their purposes into:

"Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast."

Why am I telling you about this?

Because it applies to attracting women 100%.

When it comes to attracting women, SLOW IS FAST...

Listen, you have to TAKE ACTION and LEAD when it comes to dating...

However, if you do it DELIBERATELY and more SLOWLY than most men, you'll get much better results...

Here are a few ways you can start applying this principle in your dating life right now:

1. Walk with purpose like you know where you're going, but walk slower...

2. Turn your head slower when someone calls your name...

3. SLOW DOWN all of your movements. You're still moving, just with more patience and self-control <==These two words are extremely attractive to women...

4. You should text her back, but you don't have to do it right away...

5. You should ask her out directly (again), but you shouldn't do it immediately after your first conversation with her or after your date with her.

Wait a few days in-between dates to give her interest in you time and space to GROW.

Let her think and wonder about you for a while.

"Hmmm...is he going to ask me out again or what? When will he text me? I'm pretty sure he likes me! What is he thinking?!" <==These are interest-level-raising-thoughts that should be happening in her mind for several days, allowing her romantic interest in you to rise and rise...

Then, take action and lead it forward one more step again...

6. Kiss her, slowly, then pull back from the kiss first instead of continually escalating...

Pull her in AND push her away in the right amounts at the right times = winning. For hookups and for long-term relationships.

7. Focus on having fun with her in the beginning stages of dating (2-3 months, 6-10 dates)...

Let HER "worry" about where your relationship is going. <==Read 7x...

On your first date with her, don't worry about "getting a kiss," taking her home, etc...just have fun with her and get to know her a little bit.

Ironically, when you relax, have fun, and don't try to "score" you have a MUCH better chance of kissing her/hooking up with her.

On dates 2-6 don't worry about trying to be her official boyfriend no matter how much you like her.

Let HER worry about it if she wants. Just keep taking her out, having fun with her, and kissing her on/after each date.

Ironically, when you relax, have fun, and don't worry about the status of your relationship with her, you are MUCH more likely to become her official boyfriend if you want.

Remember: When it comes to dating, we have to LEAD, but we are NEVER IN A HURRY.

There's NEVER a reason to rush.

Ever.

If you think there is...nope, there's not.

No "other guy" is going to "get her" if you don't "hurry up and text her now!"

And, if she's actually interested in you, she definitely won't forget you if you don't text her for a few days...

That's not how it works when it comes to women.

Let's say a woman's interested in 10 guys...

All of them have the same level of social status, looks, etc...

9 of them are texting her back and forth all day...

Meanwhile, 1 of them just sends her short, fun, simple texts once in a while. He responds when she texts him and he's never rude, but he doesn't text her often...

Then, about once every 7-10 days, he asks her out one-on-one for a specific day, time, and activity...

He has a great time with her and doesn't worry about where the relationship is going. Because of that, he feels relaxed, confident, and natural around her.

And because of that, she feels relaxed and free around him and has a great time with him.

He kisses her by the end of the second date and on/after each date after that.

He doesn't text her much in-between dates...

He leads the process forward, but HE DOESN'T RUSH anything...

She will chose him. 100% of the time. The other 9 guys will disappear as soon as she figures out he's the 1.

When this really sinks in, then you really understand women.

And then, when you act on that understanding, you get everything you want in dating and more...

Now, if you wait 10 days before you contact a woman again after a date...that's too long. It's rude and it sends a message that "she's your last option and it's not working out with anyone else so you went ahead and texted her..."

Not good.

However, asking her out again immediately after a date is RUSHING.

Not good either.

The "magic window" of not too soon and not too late to ask a woman out for your next date is 4-9 days after each date.

And you shouldn't ask her to meet up the same day...

So, if you ask her out on Tuesday (let's say that's 7 days since your last date with her), you should ask her to meet up with you on Thursday.

Push the date out a bit if you can.

Here's the thing:

Most guys RUSH straight into rejection...

We deliberately and SLOWLY lead things forward, so we end up WINNING.

We also take a step backward after taking a step forward, which allows a woman to participate in the interaction and drives her interest through the roof.

Festina.

Lente.

Make haste slowly when it comes to women.

Let time be your best wingman if you want a woman to fall deeply in love with you.

And, by the way, you can hook up with a woman extremely quickly...

In fact, I have personally witnessed a woman kissing a man she didn't know before they ever even exchanged any words one evening at a club (women will pick up on your very rare non-rushing attitude via your body language as well which leads to all kinds of strange and wonderful effects - this is a fun story I might share sometime haha)...

However, the key is not to care if it doesn't happen as fast as you hope (hooking up with her or becoming her boyfriend).

So, for example, if you're only going to be in town for one night and there's a woman there you really want to see, there's still no rush on your end...

You can invite her to meet up with you that night, of course, but you know that rushing doesn't work, so you also understand that if she doesn't meet up with you that night it's not a big deal...You can see her next time you're in town in a few months (and, thanks to this attitude, she will like you more when you see her then).

When it comes to "game," there is really ONLY the "long-game."

So whenever you have to decide between forcing it/rushing or slowing down, SLOW DOWN.

Every.

Single.

Time.

Try going out on your next date with absolutely ZERO concern about what you'll "get" from her or whether or not she will become your girlfriend.

And then send me your success story when it works out even better than you hoped.

Remember: When it comes to women, slow IS fast.

And when we lead things forward without ever forcing it we consistently win the dating and relationship game (and so do the women we date). <==Master this.

Because when you're not concerned about hooking up or being in a relationship with a woman who's interested in you (while you still lead things forward), all of a sudden she gets very concerned about it.

And that's the point when both of you win.

3 things you should NEVER say or text to a woman...

Sometimes it's more powerful and effective to learn what not to do and eliminate mistakes instead of trying to fill our minds with new actions and habits...

So,

Here are 3 things you should NEVER say or text to a woman (and what to do instead):

1. When are we hanging out again (When can I see you again, etc.)?

Instead of asking a woman when you can see her again, just wait a few days, find something FUN you want to do, and then ask her to join you on a specific day, at a specific time, for a specific activity:

"Hey, I'm going to check out this new Spanish tapas place on Wednesday night. You should join me. Pick you up at 8?"

And then just keep doing that after each successful date.

Remember: YOU are the Logistical Coordinator...

So, plan everything yourself and then invite her to join you instead of asking her to do any of that work and you'll do a lot better...

And, if she has a better idea, she'll let you know and then you can adjust from there.

Just ALWAYS plan to be the one who plans everything first.

Now, if she asks you out, always say yes if you're available unless she asks you to hang out the same day (then just say, "That sounds awesome but I'm busy this evening. Can we meet up tomorrow instead? [or 2 days from now etc.] - make her a specific counteroffer, which is the same as saying yes).

Ultimately, it's ideal for us when she's asking you out because she can't chase you (ask you to hang out/ask you "When are we hanging out again?!") AND "reject" you at the same time...

We want her to ask you, "Hey, When are we hanging out again?!"

That's HER job.

It's her job to wonder if and when you will ask her out again and what you might have planned.

Yours is just to wait a few days, plan something fun, and then invite her to join you.

Don't reverse these roles if you want to be SUCCESSFUL.

2. My Ex used to do X, why don't you?

Never compare a woman you're dating to one of your exes...

Or any other woman.

Listen, women HATE to be compared to other women and it creates RESENTMENT inside them...

...and, if her resentment builds up enough, she'll leave you even if she's a good catch and she used to be completely in love with you...

Not good.

So just don't do it.

Even if it's a "positive" comparison like, "You're so much hotter than Beyoncé" it still creates an undercurrent of discomfort that undermines her confidence in your connection with her.

This is one of the top pitfalls that can hurt your relationship with a woman on the first date just as much as it can on your 75th anniversary...

So always remember: If you commit the crime of comparison, she won't forget it.

Do it enough times and you'll pay for it.

Trust me when I say this one will make your life a lot easier. =)

3. Do you like/love me?

Instead of asking her how much she likes you, read her ACTIONS toward you:

Does she accept your date invitations?

Does she show up for your dates on time and excited?

Does she kiss you (kiss you back) enthusiastically?

Is she consistent or does she run "hot and cold?"

Does she show up for your third date with her (and then your 6th date with her)?

That's how you know if she likes/loves you. What she says is much less important...

And, wait for her to tell you she loves you before you say it.

Wait for HER to bring up the idea of being your girlfriend or wife BEFORE you ask her to be your girlfriend or to marry you.

(She probably won't ask you to be her boyfriend or husband directly...she'll probably say things like, "Hey, where is this relationship headed?" Or, "What are we?" And, she'll most likely bring up the TOPIC of marriage indirectly as well. THAT's when you can ask her to be your girlfriend or ask her to marry you, never sooner...)

Just keep SHOWING her your interest in her by continuing to ask her out and having fun with her instead of telling her how much you like her with your mouth.

And read her ACTIONS instead of asking her if she likes you back...

PRO TIP: You can text a woman something playfully challenging like, "So, on a scale from 10 to 10, how much do you miss me right now? ;-)" or ask her, "Why do you like me so much?" in a conversation if you want...but it's never a good idea to ask her, "Do you like me? I mean do you like me as more than friends?" - see the difference? In the first two examples, you're assuming she's interested in you = attractive and in the last example you're asking for her to validate you = not attractive.

Remember, being a CHALLENGE is the key to success with women.

Does Looking at Women Hurt Your Chances with Women?

Today's topic is one that is both super serious and critical when it comes to your success with women and also light, fun, and not that serious at the same time.

You can take this one as deep as you want to; there are things in today's newsletter that we should all apply at all times with women and other things that you can take or leave depending on how far you want to take this topic.

Whether you want to attract a woman for one night or for a lifetime, the things we will discuss today will make you more successful...

So, let's get into it:

I got a question from a top student the other day that goes a lot deeper into male/female dynamics than you might think at first...

Here's what S.L. wrote in:

"Hey Jim,

Are you aware of this?

I'm curious if you believe it's true that looking at women is a negative aspect of your success in a relationship with a woman...

I was never aware that looking at a woman could be a bad thing.

Furthermore, I have been looking at women my entire life and never thought that this could hurt my chances of ever being in a relationship with a woman.

And here's what I told him:

Does Looking at Women Hurt Your Chances with Women?

Hi S.L.,

I LOVE this question...

And the answer might be bigger than you think.

The answer is YES, checking out women/eye contact is a BIG deal when it comes to dating and relationships with women.

In a broader sense, it's about your attention; your eyes are a big part of that, especially as men are visual creatures. But it also applies to where you point your whole BODY.

So, let's break this down into phases of how it applies to attracting a woman for one night or for a lifetime:

Initial Attraction

More women will be interested in you initially if you walk into a room not really noticing the women or looking at them.

Why?

You appear less needy.

I mean, if you just hooked up with 7 supermodels an hour ago, or you have a gorgeous, awesome wife who loves you and treats you well at home, would you be hurting your neck looking at all of the marginally attractive women or above in the room?

Of course not.

So, when you don't pay too much attention to the women around you, you appear less needy and more preselected.

And, mysterious...

And, you are demonstrating self-control, which is one of the things that raises female interest.

"There's something about that guy..." is what women start thinking.

Plus, they WANT your attention and you're one of the only guys who is not just giving it to them.

So, now your attention is more valuable as well.

What we should be doing as men is focusing on our MISSION and our vision...

We are committed to those things while women are committed to us.

You communicate this when you walk down the street or into a room; it's better for your "social hierarchy value" to look past everyone instead of pinging around the room looking at everyone, especially the women.

When you do this, people come to you.

We should also turn our head slowly if someone calls our name; not whip it around.

Are you seeking attention?

Or are you the one who gives others attention slowly once it's earned?

It might sound weird but these things are important in human social life and women tend to pick up on these things 6x more than men...

And these things are even more important if you're just going for hookups vs. looking for a relationship (they are still important for initial attraction, regardless of your goals. They just matter even more if you want to spike a woman's attraction quickly).

I highly encourage you to be hardcore about this and try this out for just one month:

Any time you enter a big space with a lot of people, like a business conference/meeting, a bar or club on a Friday night, or your college campus/a classroom, try NOT noticing the women around the room/place/space AT ALL.

Keep your head up (shoulders relaxed, back, and down) and don't look at the ground...just don't look around to try to find attractive women AT ALL.

And look past people to where you will go sit, etc. vs. looking around the room nervously to see if people are noticing you. Let them look at you if they want, while you mostly don't look at them.

Practice the discipline this takes and see how it feels...

See how people and especially women react to you when you do this vs. when you're not doing this.

Now, if you had a vision for your life and/or a mission in your life that was so compelling that all of your focus went into it, you would do this more often naturally and then more women would be drawn to you because they want to try to GET your attention while you are charging down your own path as a man...

But you can simulate this attractive male trait by just by NOT looking around every space you find yourself in to find all of the "attractive women" around.

This makes you appear more attractive and mysterious and separates you from other men.

And you are encouraging women to chase you while most men chase.

Now she is checking you out vs. the other way around. Which is what happens when you are an attractive man (so, now you're used to it). =)

This is both super shallow and super deep at the same time; the reason why you are doing this makes it so but the affects are the same.

Now, you might be thinking, "But Jim, if I don't look for attractive women, how will I get any?"

Good question. It cuts STRAIGHT into the heart of male/female dynamics.

The answer is this: If you do this, you will start to notice that women are finding reasons to come closer to you and to try to make eye contact with you...

Basically, this is the attitude that works with women and it's applied here via your ATTENTION: "She'll be around..."

The hot women don't disappear just because you're not noticing them so much. =)

And, when they are trying to find a way to get your attention vs. trying their best to ignore and defend themselves from your intense incoming interest, which situation do you think is better for you in terms of attracting a woman for one night or a lifetime?

Exactly.

Of course, if a woman comes close to you and you turn your head toward her slowly a bit (like you accidentally noticed her) and say, "Hi" because you noticed her move, that's great. We should do that. You can even smile at her haha. =)

Same thing goes if she makes eye contact with you - hold it for a moment, break it to the side, and then go talk to her.

Just don't be the one "sharking" around the venue looking super hard for women. <==This repels women.

Now, let's zoom back out a bit...

The key when you go out in the world in general is this:

The environment is reacting to you more than you are reacting to the environment.

A woman is reacting to you more than you are reacting to her.

We should ALL adopt this mentality (see the ATTRACTIVE MALE CONTROL program for more).

This is key when it comes to initial attraction and it's super attractive to women.

When there's a car crash on the other side of the freeway going the other way that doesn't affect you or your mission in life, everyone else is turning their head to look...

Not you - you are focused on your mission and vision and it doesn't even interest you at all. You just keep driving straight.

Again, try this out when you leave the house a few times; especially if you go out to the bars and clubs at night.

I think you will find that women are moving closer to you to try to get your attention and/or trying to make eye contact with you.

And, again, if she catches your eye and you make eye contact, hold it confidently before you slowly look off to the side (smile with your eyes)...

We are not afraid of looking at a woman, checking her out, or making eye contact.

We're just not out there seeking it out super hard like almost all other men in the world do when they go outside.

The more you don't act like you just got out of prison and you haven't seen a woman for 10 years, the better you tend to do. =)

Alright, next:

She Makes Eye Contact with You

If a woman locks eyes with you, even briefly, approach her immediately...

This is her way of asking you to come meet her.

So, go do it.

With no hesitation - hesitation breaks the bubble of your attractiveness that she needs to stay inside. Keep the bubble intact.

You Start Talking to Her

When you first start talking to a woman, DO NOT point your head, eyes, shoulders, hips, and feet all straight at her...

Start by standing next to her or at least at an angle.

When YOU are talking to her, look at her in the eyes, then slowly turn your head and look away, then slowly look back. When she's talking, listen intently but don't look her in the eyes too much.

And don't lean in to hear her; again, this is about your ATTENTION, which is a valuable thing that we shouldn't just give away...

Stay relaxed, lean back away from her, and keep your body pointed away from her a bit at first.

Then, as she engages in the conversation with you and it's going well, turn a little bit more of your body toward her as she earns it by continuing to be a cool person.

First, turn your head only toward her...

Next, turn your shoulders toward her but keep your hips and feet pointed away or at an angle away from her.

Then, turn your hips toward her, and finally, your feet.

"Naturals" do this...well, naturally. =)

And even once you point your whole body her way, keep one foot angled 45 degrees away (it should be pointing outside of her body frame). This is kind of like an attention/pressure "release valve" and it makes everything smoother and more comfortable for both of you.

Positive body language (pointing your whole body at someone) increases the TENSION between the two of you; tension is good for kissing and fighting...

You want to increase the tension slowly instead of "fire-hosing" her with it all at once like most guys do.

Cook that steak; don't burn it.

Alright next:

On a Date

When you're talking to a woman on a date, look at her in the eyes for a bit, then break eye contact to the side and move your head to the side slowly. Then, slowly make eye contact again, then break it again.

Don't stare at her the whole time and don't be afraid to look her in the eyes. Balance it out.

And keep your body language OPEN for the most part; if you're sitting at a table, try to sit next to her or at a 90 degree angle vs. straight across from her. This leads to better results for hookups AND long-term relationships.

And, again, DO NOT lean in and out of the conversation (no "pecking")...

Talk a bit louder if you need to, but just sit back and relax as you have a fun conversation with her and get to know her.

Also, DO NOT check out other women when you're on a date with a woman. She has earned your focused attention for the duration of your date with her. That's part of the "value" you have to offer her on dates and this one applies on your first date AND once you've been with her for 75 years.

Checking out other women when you're with her shows a lack of respect...and disrespect can lower female interest and cause you other problems with her as well.

Respecting a woman cannot increase her interest in you; but not respecting her can certainly lower her interest if she has average self-esteem or better (the kind of woman you want to be with).

Look, she knows that you will always find other women physically attractive...

So, when you don't check out other women when you're with her, you are showing her that you respect her and that you have self-control.

And when you walk into a venue when you're single and you don't whip your head around to find all of the physically attractive women in the room (or you don't look at them at all), she will think that you will respect her this way if she ends up with you.

She will feel like you have good self-control and that she can trust you a bit more already, before she even meets you.

Plus, it seems like you have experience with women and you're not hungry/needy.

You are showing all the women in the world that you understand women and handle them well when you don't look at them very much. And that YOU are an attractive man who has women coming to you.

This is the MOST attractive kind of man.

Again, this goes a lot deeper than it might seem at first.

And then lastly:

Once She's Deeply in Love with You (interest 9/10 or higher) and You are in a Relationship

Here's the reversal of this:

Once a woman is truly deeply in love with you, she has earned your full attention sometimes...

And we are going to give it to her regularly.

This is called AFFECTION and it's one of the things that keeps a woman in love with you.

Here's how you do it (DO NOT do this before she is fully in love with you for sure):

Every once in a while, hold her in your arms...

And then look into her eyes for a few seconds with no ulterior motive.

No kissing, this is not a set up for anything, you are just giving her your FULL attention with your eyes.

Then, after you've done this for a few seconds, hug her and let her go or kiss her on the forehead and let her go or just simply let go of her (do NOT escalate physically or try to kiss her on the lips and do not look for a reaction from her. Just do it and give this to her freely).

If a woman is deeply in love with you, she will LOVE this and she will be practically glowing afterward.

So, the answer to your question is YES, I am aware of this, and it's even more powerful than that video tells us.

Not only does it make more women attracted to you at first, it also shows a lot of amazing male qualities when you aren't whipping your head around checking out every woman you see...

It's important in the dating phase, when you're talking to a woman, and in allowing her to fall in love with you. And then, it's even one of the most important things in terms of keeping her in love once she gets there.

Your eyes are powerful (really, your ATTENTION is powerful as a man)...

So, think about how you can focus more on your mission and vision and improving yourself and give less attention to things that don't affect where you are going.

And think about how you can react to the environment less.

Don't get your head turned by the world, and especially by women, so easily...

And then think about how you can give a woman a bit more attention, a little bit at a time, as she earns it by being an awesome person and accepting your steps forward. This applies to hook ups and long-term relationships at the same level.

Remember: Strategically giving a woman more of your attention when she earns it and strategically holding back your attention when it's the best thing for both of you (being a challenge/waiting 4-8 days after a date to contact her again and ask her out again etc.) is a MAJOR factor in your success with a woman.

If you want to hook up, you strategically do this in a way that skyrockets her attraction in one night or after one or two dates (see The Good Guy Guide)...

If you want a long-term relationship, you strategically do this in a way that allows her to fall deeply in love with you and then stay deeply in love with you (this usually takes 6-10 dates / 2-3 months - see Attract and Keep Her).

And, of course, that definitely applies to your eyes.

Again, women pick up on these body language things a lot more than we do...

So, I encourage you to practice this self-control when it comes to your eyes and see what happens. Experiment with it.

My guess is that women will be more attracted to you in general and you will separate yourself from many other men.

The FEMALE EGO...

When we think about the words "ego" and/or "pride," we tend to be talking about males in general...

And, sure, men tend to have a certain kind of ego that shows up to varying degrees in most men.

However, females also tend to have a distinctive, unique ego and sense of pride that men don't have...

Even the sweetest ones.

Across geographical and cultural lines.

So, in this newsletter, I'm going to give you a few pointers in terms of what the distinct female ego means for us when it comes to dating and relationships and how to handle it.

Understanding the special kind of unique female pride most women have and dealing with it properly can go a long way toward your success with women whether you just want to have fun going for hookups or you want to attract the right woman for you for a long-term partnership.

So, let's start with a quick overview...

There are two main sides to the "Female Ego/Female Pride" coin that we will discuss today:

First, a woman is going to do what she wants to do with whom she wants to do it, when she wants to do it...

Especially when it comes to her genuine romantic feelings.

See, she's kind of like a cat...

If you run after her, she will usually run away.

But if you sit patiently and don't point too much attention her way, all of a sudden she gets curious and comfortable, so she jumps up on your lap when she wants to.

What we want is for her to choose to be with us herself; she will if we treat her the right way.

And the second part of this is that REPUTATION is very important to her.

Now, humans are social animals in general and reputation is important to all of us to some degree...

However, a woman's public image, at least with the group she wants to associate with, is very likely to be way more important to her than it is to you.

Ignore this at your peril.

And what does this mean for us in terms of enjoying more success and having a better life with women?

The FEMALE EGO/FEMALE PRIDE...

Two BIG things:

1. It means we should keep her ego on your side as much as possible...

How can we do this?

Here are just a few examples:

A. When you first meet a woman, she may or may not be interested...

If she's interested, we continue. If she's not, we stop.

So, let's say you're chilling in front of the fish section of your local supermarket.

A good-looking woman approaches, and you ask her if she knows anything about cooking salmon...

She gives you a bitter face and walks off, ignoring you completely.

Hmmm...alright, I guess she's not interested lol.

3 minutes later, another attractive woman comes over and is looking at the fish.

You ask her if she has any pointers on cooking salmon...

She gives you a 15 minute cooking lesson.

So, you ask for her number and she gives it to you with enthusiasm.

It might sound obvious, but you should call or text the woman who gave you a cooking lesson and ask her out and you should NOT chase the other woman out of the store, even if YOU are slightly more interested in her.

Yet, that's how most men approach dating.

Not us; because we know that the FOUNDATION of a romantic relationship is a woman's interest in us, not our interest in her.

Alright, now let's take this deeper...

Assuming a woman IS interested:

B. Make things her idea as often as you can...

So, you probably know by now that our job as a man in the dating "dance" is to LEAD...

However, what we should also be doing is encouraging her to chase you/trying to make it her idea to go out with you, kiss you, be in a relationship with you, etc. as often as you can.

Remember: Incoming interest is the holy grail of male/female dynamics for us because a woman CANNOT reject you and come toward you at the same time.

Now, she doesn't have to ever take the lead or chase you...

As long as she keeps responding positively to all of your steps forward with absolutely no resistance, there's no problem there.

Ideally, however, she's going to be coming at you, at least a little bit.

And, if she's interested in you and you follow all of the steps inside The Good Guy Guide and/or the Attract and Keep Her System, then almost all women WILL come toward you at least a little bit, at least some of the time.

She'll text you first, pull you in for a kiss, try to seduce you, hint at being in a relationship, etc.

And, again, that's ultimately what we want:

We want it to be her idea that you're dating her because everything is better when it's her idea.

Even though you're the one leading.

So, LEAD by asking her out for a specific day, time, and activity...

Then, after your awesome date, encourage her to chase you/be a CHALLENGE/allow her to take a step toward you if she wants by waiting 4-8 days after your awesome date before you ask her out again without revealing to her that you plan to ask her out again.

This gives her the chance to chase you if she wants.

I mean, if you haven't contacted her for 3 days after your date, what's stopping her from sending you a text?

Trust me sir; once you realize that letting her wonder about you and take some action of her own raises her interest level wayyyyyyyyy more than you pushing your interest onto her constantly every moment of every day and then you act on this realization, the world is truly your oyster.

Remember: She'll be around...

We're not in a hurry - this is the winning attitude. Leading but not concerned or rushing.

Yes, we take action and we lead...

But we are also a challenge and we realize that if she's truly interested she will do everything she can to make things happen with us on her own time.

And, her timeline simply tends to be a bit longer than ours, so we just have to outwait and outwit her.

If you follow the steps inside the Attract and Keep Her system, it will become her idea to be in a relationship with you as she falls deeply in love with you and if you follow the steps inside The Good Guy Guide it will at least be partly her idea to hook up with you as you build tension and she chases you (assuming she's at least a little bit interested in you to begin with).

C. Another part of this is to appeal to her ego while avoiding directly attacking her ego...

See, a woman wants to WIN the silent "competition" between all females out there.

So, if you want her to kiss you passionately, you can appeal to her ego:

"You know, don't tell anyone this because it's kind of embarrassing...So, I've had some good kisses before; but, to be honest with you, I haven't really had someone kiss me and knock my socks off yet..."

Then kind of turn your head away from her as if you didn't say anything.

If she wants to kiss you (only say this if you haven't kissed yet - otherwise this is attacking her ego as she has already kissed you so you're saying she didn't kiss you that well), whenever you do kiss she is going to try to give you the best make out session of your life. =)

You can also mention that nobody has ever really given you a mind-blowing BJ yet etc. depending on the situation and how comfortable she feels with you haha =)

Try this out and let me know how it works for you (again, assuming she's attracted to you at least a little bit)...

This is the way to get lots of good stuff guys, I promise you.

It's certainly much better than a lot of other ways of "trying to make it happen."

D. Also, try to use the "side door" and speak in generalities whenever you want to talk about her or the two of you...

For example, when you first meet a woman, stand NEXT to her facing the same way instead of pointing your shoulders directly at her.

Then, as she engages in the conversation with you, turn more and more of your body toward her.

And if you want to ask her to move in but you're not sure how she feels about it, talk about some other couple:

"Hey, my friend and his GF just moved in together. They've been dating about 10 months (make this about as long as you have been dating her) - how do you feel about that? Is it too soon or are they doing it right?"

Her response will tell you how she would feel about moving in with YOU.

This way of communicating keeps the pressure OFF of her; and, trust me, women are used to it.

I refereed soccer for 17 years - at one training I attended a female World Cup referee told us that when we referee women's matches we should address the whole team instead of singling out one player to yell at (as we tend to do with the men's teams) because she will feel super attacked if we do that and her teammates will probably also try to defend her and create more problems.

She will get that it's about her, of course, when we address everyone or speak in more general terms.

So, if you have something you want to say about HER, try to speak in more general terms if you can to preserve her sense of pride.

For example, instead of, "Hey, can you please stop opening my mail?" Try saying, "Hey, by the way, do you think it's okay for people to open other people's mail or do you think that's kind of a violation of privacy or at least over a boundary a bit?"

It might sound strange to us but if you master this kind of indirect communication and use it when appropriate, it can go a long way toward keeping a tranquil home.

Of course, sometimes we should be more direct; the point is that she will get it if you speak indirectly and it tends to cause less of a negative reaction on her end when you communicate this way.

E. Lastly, NEVER compare her to another woman.

EVER.

This is a cardinal sin when it comes to a woman.

On your first date, don't tell her, "my ex used to do this, this, and this...are you like that?" whether they are positive or negative things.

Don't tell her that Margot Robbie's haircut is amazing and that maybe she should get it too...

And don't tell her that your mother's cooking was better once you're married. =)

Remember: When you're with a woman for one night or for a lifetime, she is special, unique, and not like any other woman. She's the only woman you have experience with and really she's the only woman in the world (i.e. Rihanna). <==This is our attitude, not necessarily "the truth..."

Ironically, the guys who have the most experience with women embody this the most because they understand how women feel when they are compared to any other woman.

If you want her ego to start working against you, go ahead and compare her to another woman; if you want her ego on your side, avoid this like the plague.

And then thank me later when your life is smoother. =)

2. It means we should protect her reputation...

One of the major reasons women get super angry with men is when a man causes them to lose respect in public.

For example, while cheating is obviously bad in general when you have made a commitment to someone, many women get MORE upset about the public embarrassment than the actual cheating itself.

So, here are 4 quick ways you can protect a woman's reputation and therefore have a better dating life and/or relationship with a woman:

A. Don't talk about all of the crazy stuff you do with her in the bedroom (with anyone)...

Don't go to work on Monday and tell your boss or your co-worker, "Dude. You should have seen what Sarah Beth did to me this weekend...wowza! She was upside down and l***ing my b***$! And then we did x, x, and x."

Keep your bedroom exploits to yourself.

Ironically, the less you feel the need to share them, the more they will happen.

With her and/or with other women who know you're hooking up and never hear you talk about it if you're just going for hookups.

Remember: Most women, even if they want to be a freak in the sheets, still want to be viewed as respectable ladies in "the streets."

If you facilitate this for them, more goodies will come your way than if you get a reputation for kissing and telling.

B. A wise pirate once said, "A gentleman allows a lady to maintain her fictions..."

Yeah.

This means a woman might fudge the numbers a bit regarding the extent of her sexual experience...

It's not a good idea to interrogate her about this or to make her feel bad about it.

Especially if you're just going for hookups; but, even if you want a relationship, it's not a good idea.

We want her feeling good about doing all kinds of things with us in the bedroom and to feel good about being attracted to us.

And it doesn't matter that she has a bit of experience unless it's a total deal-breaker for you (in that case, stop dating her):

What happened in the past is none of our business as we are with her now and we were not before, we may or may not have some experience as well, and we are starting fresh with her and moving forward...

As long as she:

-Is safe and doesn't have anything she can pass on to you...

-Doesn't have children from prior liaisons..

-Is LOYAL and has never cheated on a boyfriend or husband (this does NOT necessarily correlate with more or less experience)...

Then it doesn't really matter who has come before or how many.

If she tells you she's been with 3 men and it's really 5; well, this is not something that should have any bearing on your relationship with her as long as she's loyal to you (if a certain amount of "experience" is a deal-breaker for you, again, just stop dating her).

So don't ask her how many partners she's had - focus on the PRESENT and raising her interest level while looking for signs of LOYALTY if you want a relationship. And you don't owe her your number either.

Be careful with this subject just like you should be with her age.

You can make a big deal out of this if you want; I'm simply suggesting that it generally works against you.

C. Dominate her in the BEDROOM; treat her as an equal in other scenarios...

When you're at dinner with your family, treat her as an equal and as a partner...

When you're out with your friends, don't put her down.

Praise her in front of her boss.

Try not to undermine her in front of the kids.

Sit down with her and come up with a reasonable way for both of you to split up household chores etc. in a way that both of you can agree to.

Then, when it comes to dating, LEAD.

And, in the bedroom, lead even more...

Grab her body and move her around (don't hurt her of course - firm yet gentle is good for most women).

Try doing dominant things and saying dominant things (of course, while most women enjoy this, don't do anything she doesn't end up enjoying).

Tell her she's your dirty little....etc.

Then, once you're finished and you're having dinner with her, go back to treating her with more respect. =)

If you can master this balance, well, the female ego will love you.

And she'll think you "get it."

Alright, last one for the day:

D. If you have done something wrong, tell her about it BEFORE she hears it from someone else...

Do not let her hear about something you did from others; this damages her pride and public reputation.

When you tell her yourself, you show her she can trust you.

You are protecting her from public loss of face.

While it's the right thing to do in general, this is the main reason why it matters so much with a woman.

Now, when you apologize, don't grovel or beg for forgiveness...

Just say, "Hey, I did x bad thing...I sincerely apologize for x. I will do x to make sure it doesn't happen again."

And try to let her know/apologize as soon as possible.

On the other hand, if you genuinely think you have done nothing wrong in any scenario, DO NOT apologize...

Stand your ground (we talk about this in the BACKBONE and Moments of Truth Advanced Class, among many other things).

This is the reversal/other side of the female ego/female pride:

Sometimes, when appropriate, we should also put it in check.

If you get her ego on your side, protect her reputation, AND put her ego in check when necessary, she's YOURS.

This is how you attract a woman and/or show her love.

If you want to be in a long-term relationship with the right woman for you, follow the steps inside Attract and Keep Her so that it becomes her idea to be with you as she falls deeply in love with you...

Or, if you're just going for hookups, follow the steps inside The Good Guy Guide so that it becomes her idea to hook up with you and so both of you are still smiling the next day.

Just don't go around telling all of your friends about all the crazy stuff you did the night before. =)

What to say to a woman after, "Hi..."

One of my top students sent me another good question recently:

"Jim,

I’ve been researching a lot on first conversations to attract women, and it still confuses me:

What can you say after, “Hi” or asking extremely boring predictable questions like, “How's your day going?”

So can you write a script on the first five minutes conversation or send a link of a video as an example?

Well, first of all, all aspects of talking to a woman you're interested in is exactly what we cover inside the FLIRTING MASTER program, so grab that here now if you're interested in mastering attractive conversations with women.

Secondly, before I give my answer, I want to say that I don't believe in "scripts" or "routines" because I firmly believe that you should adapt the principles of attractive conversations to your own style AND the specific situation you find yourself in...

However, what I can do is show you an example of a good first conversation with a woman based on attractive conversation principles and break it down for you so that you can more easily adapt it to your own style and any situation you find yourself in with an attractive woman.

That way, whenever you get back out there, you'll be ready to go.

Before we get started with that, here are the elements of an attractive conversation with a woman:

PC = Playfully Challenging/Attraction-Building Conversation...

CC = Connecting/Rapport-Building Conversation...

Q = Qualification = Solidifies Attraction...

(There's also SC = Seductive/Escalating Conversation and Tension-Building Spikes, but those are for a different newsletter)...

If a woman is interested in you, your first conversation with her includes PC and CC, AND you add Q (qualify her - more about this later), she won't lose interest in you and chances are good that her attraction to you will go UP.

And she's much more likely to actually show up on a date if all of these elements are there.

On the other hand, if one is missing, she'll be less likely to show up for a date or for your next date.

So now let's see how these elements might play out in a real-world conversation:

What to say after, "Hi..."

First of all, when you start a conversation with a woman, it doesn't really matter what you say very much...

What matters is just that you get the conversation started.

So, "Hi" is perfectly fine as an opening line.

You can get more creative or even use a playfully challenging line to start a conversation if you want but it's not necessary.

My favorite way to start a conversation with a woman, if the situation allows, is to ask her for a favor...

She's standing at the bar with a pile of napkins in front of her and I come up to the bar and stand next to her: "Hey, can you grab me a couple napkins please? Thanks."

***PRO TIP: Remember that Body Language is also very important in your first interaction with a woman...make sure you check out this presentation if you haven't already.***

Then, after you start your conversation with a woman, here's something I ALWAYS DO:

Ask her her name without telling her your name.

Make this a habit...

Why?

Two reasons:

1. It's the first time you test a woman's interest level in you...

If a woman is interested in you AND/OR simply a polite person, she'll ask you your name after she tells you hers.

However, if she doesn't ask you your name back at some point in the conversation, then she's not interested in you.

So, if a woman doesn't ask me my name after I ask her for her name, I'll politely end the conversation smoothly after a while and then move on as quickly as possible.

Again, if she asks your name back, she could be interested or she could just be a polite person...

Yet if she doesn't ask your name back, she's not interested.

Who's doing the testing now?!

Yep, that's us.

2. We're setting up the dynamic of her chasing you...

Instead of you just giving her your name, she has to work a little bit to gain that information...

It's the first time in your interaction with a woman that she's coming at you and showing some interest.

And this is the pattern we want to repeat throughout the beginning stages of dating:

Instead of "telling her your name," we wait until she asks before we tell her.

Instead of "telling her you want to be in a relationship with her" we just keep asking her out and having fun with her (make sure to go for a kiss by the end of the second date to avoid the friend zone) until she brings up the idea of being in a relationship.

Etc.

We want her coming at you because she can't come toward you and reject you at the same time.

And this is the first way we can set up this dynamic in our very first conversation with a woman.

Good stuff.

Now let's continue with the gorgeous woman at the bar after she hands me a napkin or two:

Attractive Man (AM): "What's your name by the way?"

Attractive Female (AF): "I'm Brandi..."

Pause...

Nope, not gonna give it up unless she asks...

AF: "...and what's your name then?"

AM: "I'm Jim, nice to meet you Brandizzle...=)"

PRO TIP: There are many ways you can throw some PC into this name exchange...

For example, you can say, "Nah...you don't really look like a Brandi to me...I'm gonna call you Rachel from now on, alright?" ;-)

Hopefully she'll hit your arm and say, "Not cool! haha..."

OR, you could wait until she asks your name and give her a silly answer first:

Well, my real name's Dwayne...but my friends mostly just call me 'The Rock..." ;-) "Nah, my name's Jim..."

Or, you could give her a playful nickname (like Brandizzle).

Etc.

You don't have to but you can add in some PC here.

Alright, let's continue the conversation after exchanging names...

AM: "Ok, so let me guess: You're from California aren't you?"

This is good for several reasons:

1. It's a cold read instead of asking a boring question...

Infinitely better to just guess something than ask, "Where are you from?" "What do you do?" etc. for at least some of these routine questions people ask each other.

Makes things more interesting and demonstrates confidence.

2. If you get it right, she'll want to know how you knew that...

3. If you get it wrong, she'll want to know why you thought that...

This is, once again, her coming at you.

Make sense?

Awesome.

AF: "Haha, no I'm actually from Nebraska...What made you think I'm from Cali?"

AM: "Haha, I don't know, you just kind of have that California girl vibe I guess...I'm from Idaho, by the way, so I'm not from Cali either and I won't hold that against you."

AF: "Idaho...so you're like, a potato farmer then? Haha, jk...Serious question though: What do you actually do?"

AM: "Oh, I'm a Ninja...It's not as cool as it seems though. It mostly just involves staying super quiet and moving slowly at night. Fights aren't as common as people think and most of the time I take a bit of damage myself so it's not really that fun..."

When a woman asks you one of these common, boring "interview" questions, respond with a silly answer first...

Then, if she asks you again, give her your real answer.

AF: "LOL! No, really, what do you do for work? I want to know haha. So. Ridiculous. =)"

Remember: If a woman's laughing with you, that's a great sign.

AM: "Okay okay, I'm actually a writer."

Even though you give her a straight answer the second time she asks, you still want to be general about it so she still has to dig for more details.

Remember: Women LOVE to play detective and dig for details.

So give her the chance.

AF: "What kind of writer?"

AM: "I write books mostly. And I also have a weekly newsletter."

AF: "Oh, that's cool! What do you write about?"

AM: "Mostly about science-based self-improvement. I really love it and I also enjoy working for myself...Ok, my turn...You're a lawyer, aren't you?"

Another cold read is fine here. Don't always use cold reads instead of asking questions, but using a couple of them in your first conversation is great.

***PRO TIP: When you do ask a question, use a declarative sentence instead of a straight question. For example: Instead of, "What's your favorite color?" it's better to say, "Tell me your favorite color..."***

AF: "What?! No! I'm a nurse actually..."

AM: "Ah, so you're one of those girls...? ;-)"

AF: "What does that mean?"

AM: "Well, you know what they say about nurses, don't you?"

Use "You're not one of those girls are you? ;-)" and "You know what they say about X (X = her profession, major, etc.) don't you?" liberally. Great way to add some PC into a first conversation.

AF: "Enlighten me..."

AM: "Nah, I better not tell you haha..."

AF: "Tell me!"

AM: "I got nothin; I was just joking. =) I actually think Nurses are awesome and my sister's a nurse."

AF: "Hey, wait a minute...why would you think I'm a lawyer?!"

AM: "Well, you kinda have that "bossy vibe" about you..." ;-)

More PC! Things are starting to get spicy (=fun/attractive). By this point, there's enough PC in this conversation for sure. You don't even need this much; you just need some to spice things up and make it an attractive conversation vs. a standard, boring one.

AF: "Haha, no, I'm not bossy at all, I promise!"

AM: "Okay, I believe you, haha. I was worried for a second but now I'm not."

When she defends herself, don't keep teasing her; validate her. This is her trying to prove herself to you and we want to reward that vs. rejecting her.

Now, here's where we get to the CRUX of your first conversation...

This could be the difference of a woman showing up on your first date (or your next date) and her flaking on you:

At some point in your first conversation with a woman, once ATTRACTION has been established by bantering back and forth/PC, you must QUALIFY her and then move into CC/Rapport-Building.

Here's how I recommend doing just that:

*After PC/Bantering/Small talk for a bit (see above for example)*

AM: "Haha, alright, you seem pretty cool Brandi...so tell me, if you hit the lottery jackpot and never had to work again, what would you do then and why?"

OR, "You seem like an awesome person Brandi...tell me three things I wouldn't know about you just by looking at you."

The first part of this is to give her some light validation: You seem like a cool/awesome/fun person.

This tells her that she's doing well with you...AND, at the same time, you're not saying you're completely sold on her yet.

You're now asking her to share more of herself with you and at a little bit of a deeper level.

You're communicating that she's earning your interest by being playful and bantering with you and now you want to get to know her more.

Then, the second part of this is asking her an open-ended question that allows her to talk and share more about herself.

These two parts make up Q = Qualification.

It's just a couple of sentences but these two sentences are what SOLIDIFY the attraction you've been building with a woman and they allow you to smoothly transition to CC.

If you take nothing else from this email, LEARN HOW TO DO THIS AND DO IT EVERY TIME YOU TALK TO A WOMAN FOR THE FIRST TIME FROM NOW ON.

Qualify every woman you meet during your first conversation with her. You'll get much better results.

Then, once you ask her the open-ended question, LET HER TALK...

Your job is now to encourage her to talk as much as possible while you share back a little bit (vs. most guys who talk wayyyy too much, especially about themselves).

Remember: A woman feels closer to you and more attracted to you when she shares a lot of things about herself with you; NOT when you share things about yourself with her. <==Read 3X...

AF: "Hmmm...If I hit the lottery jackpot I would definitely travel...I want to see pretty much every country. Oh, and I would also want to help bring clean water to people who don't have it. I'm passionate about that issue. And I would definitely want to do something to help animals too."

AM: "Very cool. I love to travel and help people and animals as well. Have you heard of Kiva? It's a really cool philanthropy that helps entrepreneurs in developing countries get microloans to grow their businesses. I love it.

Alright, so, another serious question for you: If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?"

1. We're asking another open-ended question here. We want to keep these kinds of questions going and then letting her talk a lot.

2. I LOVE this question. It's fun and it's a "get to know you" CC kind of question at the same time.

3. I said it was a serious question and then asked her a lighthearted question. Great contrast.

AF: "Let me see...I would definitely be a_____because...etc."

Then, after you have a good Connecting Conversation for a while and things are going well, it's time to go for the CLOSE:

AM: "You know what Brandi, I'm really enjoying this conversation but unfortunately I have to go now...throw your number in my phone and we'll continue this later."

I actually prefer to just hand her my phone with the "add contact" screen open without saying anything at all at some point during the conversation. I find it easier and more natural but of course it's up to you how you want to do it.

The important things is to ALWAYS ask for her number at some point during your first conversation.

Always.

It's the second test of her interest (the first was the name test)...

Was she just flirting and enjoying the conversation or is she for real?

If she gives you her number, she might be interested or she might not...

If she doesn't, she's not interested (or she's not available) and you can move on.

*Alternatively, you can take her to an isolated place where it's just the two of you and continue your conversation...

Then, when you reach a point where you're both very comfortable and attracted to each other, you can say, "If you keep looking at me like that, I might have to kiss you..." Her reaction to that will tell you if you should go for a kiss or wait longer.*

Either way, you still want to ask for her number.

FINAL PRO TIP: Avoid heavy, serious subjects like politics, religion, sex, and your feelings for her. Keep it LIGHT and PLAYFUL for the most part and then also add in some CC (make sure you qualify her once) and you're golden.

Then, once you have her number, you can send her ONE text:

"Great meeting you tonight Brandizzle =)"

Then, just wait a few days and ask her out.

If she's interested and you included PC, Q, and CC in your conversation, you kept it light and fun, you didn't tell her how you feel, etc. and you got her number, chances are very high that she'll show up for a date with you.

Then you just take it from there.

If you're just having fun and going for hookups for now, follow the steps inside The Good Guy Guide.

And, that's it.

Simple, right? =)

I sincerely hope this helped shed some light on attractive conversations for you with this example.

Here's the thing: Most men are really really bad at this, so if you only get most of it right, you'll still be ahead of the pack...

And, if you master this, you'll be well on your way to attracting and keeping the right woman for you.

Eliminate Frustration with Women FOREVER (10 Steps)...

If you implement just one of these steps, you'll reduce your frustration with women significantly...

Implement all 10 and you'll eliminate your frustration when it comes to women completely:

How to Eliminate Frustration with Women in 10 Steps...

1. Stop making "covert contracts..."

When you do something, never do it expecting something in return, especially if it's not 100% clear to the other person that you expect something specific in return.

Don't text a woman to get her to text you back...

Don't do nice things for her to get her to like you...

Don't take her to dinner and think that means that she's supposed to treat you well or like you more or hook up with you...

Don't do "everything" for her and hope that she'll do something for you someday.

When you do something hoping to get something in return, it leads to tons of pointless frustration over time when other people don't fulfill their end of the "covert contract" you secretly made with them.

It's not anyone's job to read your mind; if you want something make it clear (exception: you should wait for her to bring up the idea of being in a relationship no matter how badly you want a woman to be your girlfriend due to the way male/female romantic dynamics work; however, you should LEAD the process that allows her to fall in love with you with your ACTIONS - it will be clear that you want to date her vs. just being friends if you do this correctly).

The next one is related:

2. Share FREELY instead of trying to get something...

ONLY give things to people and do things for people that you can give or do FREELY without ever getting anything in return and still feel 100% good about it.

Did you know that the human brain doesn't interpret something as a true "gift" if it thinks you want something in return or if it thinks that you put too much work into it?

See, small "sacrifices" are great for relationships...

So go ahead and buy a woman a $4.00 coffee on your first date.

And, if you suggest a date idea and she GENUINELY has a better idea that you like, go with it if you want.

On the other hand, BIG "sacrifices" are HORRIBLE for relationships (yes, the data shows this is true even if you've been together for 50 years)....

So, DON'T buy a woman a $100 steak at a restaurant you HATE just because she wants to go there on your first date.

(Now, even if you can afford to do expensive things any time you want, don't spend a lot of money on a woman until she's your official girlfriend, she's already in love with you completely, and you've been with her for at least 3 months for other reasons...).

And DON'T give in and go hang out with her and do what she wants to do when you have something important to do or something else that you really want to do...

Because when you do, it builds up RESENTMENT inside you, which is the silent killer of relationships. It's actually worse for her in the long-run too.

When you ONLY do things you truly want to do and give things you can give comfortably, you win.

You can make a small compromise here and there when required...

HOWEVER, if you do things you don't want to do or make sacrifices to try to get a particular outcome, you will eventually be FRUSTRATED.

The martyr role isn't a good look for a man when it comes to dating...

So make sure you're only giving freely and you'll never be disappointed if it doesn't "directly" come back to you.

You simply don't need it to.

Take care of yourself at a high level FIRST, take care of your own needs, and then share the abundant overflow that's left over with the world FREELY.

Make your life good and then share it with a woman who deserves it and makes your already good life a bit better vs. asking a woman to make your life good.

3. EXPECT a certain % of women to FLAKE on you...

No matter how awesome you are, no matter how good your "game" is, and no matter how much it seems like she likes you, a woman will still "flake" on you sometimes.

That means that you'll think you had a great "connection" with her, she'll agree to go out with you, you'll get excited, and then she either won't show up or she'll text you a few hours to 30 minutes before your date and cancel...

EXPECT this to happen sometimes and you won't be so frustrated when it does.

It doesn't mean ANYTHING about you at all.

And that brings us nicely to the next step:

4. Only date women who are ACTUALLY interested in you...

As soon as you figure out a woman's NOT interested in you, move on quickly.

This might sound obvious, but dating women who like you is a lot less frustrating than trying to date women who are indifferent toward you or who just aren't into you. =)

5. Don't focus on just one woman too soon...

You can if you want to, but know this:

There are MANY "ones" out there for you.

There's no such thing as a "soul mate," and, if there is, you have thousands of them...

The less you focus on one particular woman (in the beginning stages of dating), the less frustration you'll experience.

6. Build a lifestyle you love whether any particular woman likes you or not...

Remember that women are like the delicious cherry on top of your dessert; they are NOT the dessert.

If you love your daily life with or without her, you'll be a lot less frustrated if it doesn't work out with her.

So, do more of what you love and cut out more things you don't.

7. Only date reliable, giving women with good attitudes...

Relationships are tough at best...

They're even tougher if the woman you're dating isn't self-reliant, never thinks about doing anything for you, and/or has a bad attitude.

It might be okay at first because she's SUPER HOT...

But, after a while, it will only lead to FRUSTRATION.

So, weed out women who don't have their s#*t mostly together, who are selfish and never do anything for you, and who have bad attitudes as quickly as possible.

Life's too short to be with women like that...which brings us nicely to #8:

8. Don't put up with s#*t you don't want...

Remember that you get what you TOLERATE.

If you put up with something, you're telling her that what she's doing is okay.

Listen: Being single is FAR better than settling...

So, stand up for yourself and who you are and what you want.

If it gets too bad, get out of there.

Walk.

Away.

You don't have to show her your anger...just cut your losses and walk away.

When you don't tolerate the things that you don't want to tolerate, you never feel frustrated...strange isn't it? =)

9. ACCEPT the REALITY that women respond consistently to certain behaviors when it comes to dating...

Women don't (can't) love you for "you" at the deepest core level.

Only YOU can do that (and it's 100% your responsibility to love and accept yourself completely).

Women fall in love (or out of love) with your BEHAVIOR.

So, don't take it so personally even though it might seem incredibly personal.

Also, EXPECT a woman's mood to change randomly and for her to think and behave differently than you.

Don't take her changing moods personally - think of them as different flavors that make life more interesting.

10. Go where the women are...

Do the best you can when it comes to giving yourself the best possible chance to meet large numbers of the kind of woman you like.

Do activities that you GENUINELY enjoy that have more women than men...

If you live in a small town in Alaska, consider moving to a bigger city if you can...

Because the more real options you have, the less frustrated you'll be.

And, there you have it...

Do all 10 of the above and your frustration with women will disappear.

Can a Woman CONTROL YOU?

Who's really in control when it comes to dating and relationships?

Read on because this newsletter might shock or surprise you. Or, it might not...

Before we begin, I want to ask you to read this one with an open mind.

You may resist a certain idea as your first reaction; I'm not asking that you change your beliefs or opinions...only that you take time to consider what's being said, take a walk, think about it, and then decide to accept it or reject it.

Okay?

Cool.

Today's topic is my response to an email question from an awesome student of mine...

Here's what D.K. wrote in:

"Hey Jim,

The last three months I have been watching your valuable information through YouTube...

But my question to you is women are addicted to drama because it's a means of getting what they want. What we have to do as a man is learn how to deal with drama and keep women from using it to overpower men.

Could you tell me what should we do to deal with drama and keep women from using it?

Thank you,

D.K."

Wow, what a huge question!

It's so big, I wrote a book about the answer haha...

And, I'll answer it as best I can in shorter, newsletter form for you now...

There are SO many things that come to my mind when I think about this question...

First of all, because women are physically smaller and weaker than men on average, they simply have to find other routes to power than direct force.

So, of course they use tactics that you might not even dream about using until you become aware of them.

Relationships are DEFINITELY "female turf."

They have home field advantage BIG TIME in this "game."

And, even though that's true, they still buy 70% of the books and programs in the dating and relationships category...

That's why I do what I do:

We men have to study even harder just to be even with women when it comes to dating and relationships. And, if we want to get ahead, especially if we want to LEAD like we're supposed to, we simply have to learn even more.

Here are some TRUTHS about dating, relationships, and the "c" word - CONTROL:

1. About 90% of men put women (at least the ones they're attracted to) on some kind of pedestal or believe deep down that they are below them in some way...

Women are "above" these men and they know it (or they quickly figure it out after one or two dates)...

And, because women can't "look up" to these men in any way, they can't be attracted to them or fall in love with them.

Now, a woman might date one of these men, sleep with him, or even marry him for various other reasons, but they will never feel the genuine, strong emotions of attraction and love for him.

Women can control any of these men...

And, if a woman can control you, she CAN'T be attracted to you or fall deeply in love with you.

2. Some men learn about this and think the solution is to put women down or to be CONTROLLING...

Nope.

The idea is not to put women down...

The idea is to lift yourself up...

The idea is not to control women...

The idea is to control yourself...

You are in CONTROL of yourself: how well your life is going, the things you do every day, your thoughts, your emotions, etc. most of the time.

She can't affect you and knock you off of your path, make you apologize for who you are, or change your true opinions.

When she can't control you, she falls in love with you.

She can either be in control or be in love; not both.

Self-control is one of the most important elements in your internal strength, which is 1/4 of what makes a woman more interested in you.

A good woman will eventually leave a man who's controlling but she's turned on by a man who controls himself. <==Another reason why not sending that text you don't need to send, waiting a few days to ask her out again even though you're dying to see her again, etc. is so attractive - self-control and challenge are twin brothers and they both raise female interest.

3. No relationship is exactly 50-50...

The best we can hope for is 51-49.

Why?

Because someone ALWAYS gets their way (at least a little bit) more often.

If there are 101 decisions, someone gets the extra one.

Now, I'm not saying you should never compromise or let her have her way. If it's 80-20 one way or the other, that's bad...

What I'm saying is that if your relationship is somewhere in the ballpark of 51-49, that's the best we can do and the target we should shoot for...

AND:

4. It's better for both of you if YOU are the 51.

Why?

Because she CAN'T BE IN LOVE if she's the 51.

And, because the feelings of deep love affect men and women differently, it's better for your relationship if she feels it a little bit more than you.

For example, when a woman is 100% deeply in love, she becomes more fun, she's happier, she sparkles, she's more feminine, and she's much easier to be around.

She's MORE ATTRACTIVE.

And, she CUTS OUT the "drama" by the way...so the answer to the original question is simply:

DO EVERYTHING RIGHT IN THE BEGINNING STAGES OF DATING (the first 2-3 months) so that she falls DEEPLY in love with you.

At that point, drama disappears.

And then, of course, all you have to do is do everything right to maintain her interest after that.

If you already own Attract and Keep Her, you know exactly what I mean.

However, when a man is 100% deeply in love, he becomes LESS ATTRACTIVE to a woman because he's not in control of himself.

The male strength qualities that make a woman interested in him go out the window.

So, yes, I'm saying that YOUR interest in her should be 90-92% and HER interest in you should be 95% + in an ideal scenario...

That's the best we can do in this current reality.

5. You can't CONTROL which women will be attracted to you when they first meet you...

And, if a woman's not interested in you, there is NOTHING you can do.

She's in complete control in the beginning because women choose FIRST; then we choose.

However:

A. We CAN control our fitness level...

We CAN control the way we dress...

We CAN control whether or not we work on our body language...

We CAN work on increasing our social status...

And all of these things will make it more likely that a woman will be attracted to you.

B. You CAN control your behavior if a woman IS interested in you.

And, therefore, you can control if she ends up liking you more or less over time (if she's interested in you and available to begin with).

That's what we learn about together right here.

C. When a woman finds out she can't control you, that's when you gain the upper hand and now YOU are in control of what happens.

D. Even in the case of "C" above, it's still better if she thinks she's in control.

Everything should feel to her as though it's HER IDEA:

Being your girlfriend should be her idea...

Marrying you should be her idea...

Etc.

That's why "good game" is the exact opposite of using force or controlling her:

SHE CAN'T BE CHASING YOU, SHOWING INTEREST IN YOU, and/or PURSUING YOU AND BE REJECTING YOU AT THE SAME TIME.

You don't ever need to try to force anything or try to control her (which doesn't work anyway, by the way) because her interest is incoming.

If everything's her idea, there's no problem and no drama.

So, your job is simply to actively encourage her to chase you (and, if you want, catch you and keep you).

And, of course, refuse to chase her while you simply lead the process along.

6. Here are some simple tips to stay in control of yourself in a dating context:

A. If you disagree with a woman, let her know without being disagreeable.

State your opinion but don't try to convince her that you're right or she's wrong.

B. Don't get "angry" but don't put up with "drama."

Women who are highly interested in you tend to use less "drama" on you.

However, they may still TEST YOU using all kinds of psychological tactics.

The counter-measure?

You treat all women you're interested in the same and...

You do the same thing no matter what she does:

She teases you verbally or even puts you down harshly?

You respond to it as a huge compliment, ignore it completely, or agree and exaggerate it.

She can't get to you.

She's in a bad mood all of a sudden?

You don't change your mood to match hers. In fact, you can even put yourself in the mood you want her to be in and allow her to follow you there instead.

She flakes on you or cancels a date?

No problem.

You simply don't text her or call her again.

You keep living your awesome life and ask out the next woman you like out of the 3.5 BILLION other women in the world.

You can ask her out again if she re-engages you later. Otherwise, you ALWAYS move on.

She wants you to mow her lawn after the second date?

"LOL. That's adorable."

She wants you to stop doing something that you love to do?

"This is part of who I am. If you're okay with it, great. If not, we simply aren't right for each other."

She pisses you off one day after 3 years together?

Take a walk around the block and collect yourself before you blow up at her.

RESPOND to what she does; don't REACT.

Control YOURSELF as much as possible.

REMEMBER: YOU GET WHAT YOU TOLERATE...

If you tolerate drama, you keep getting it...if you don't it magically goes away.

Again, that doesn't mean "getting mad" or trying to control her, telling her what to do, yelling at her, or explaining things to her...

It just means TAKING ACTION (or NOT responding) and WALKING AWAY.

When she FEELS that she can't control you because of your behavior/actions (not your words), she will want you more if she likes you at all to begin with.

So, she actually doesn't want her "drama" to work on you if she likes you at all.

(If she isn't interested in you she might be hoping that it works so she can get a free drink, get her car detailed, get a free meal, etc.

And, there are some women who don't want to be in love - they would rather be in control.

We want to date women who WANT to be in love with us and who treat us well vs. ONLY trying to control us.

And, when a good woman like that falls deeply in love with us and we are close to that magical 51-49, we NEVER take advantage of her. We treat her well and with respect).

She's HOPING her drama doesn't work on you she can increase her feelings for you.

Give her that gift.

C. Focus ALL of your energy on things you CAN control and don't waste it on things you can't.

You can't control another person, so don't waste your time and energy trying to change or control other people...

Especially women.

Given who that person is now, what CAN you do?

Do that.

Do you like her the way she IS right now?

Date her if she's interested.

Want her to change?

You can talk to her about it once or ask her to do it, but it's up to her.

If you want to be in a relationship with a woman, you have to decide to accept her or not exactly the way she is right now.

If you can't do that, you should stop dating her/break up.

If she doesn't want to change, it's not something she can change, or she doesn't make any effort toward the change, stop dating her/break up.

Given how things ARE right now, what CAN you do?

Do that.

CAN you control yourself for the most part?

CAN you do more things you love to do and cut out more things you don't?

CAN you put up with less crap in your life?

CAN you take more action?

CAN you change yourself if you want/need to?

CAN you change the way you behave and interpret things?

CAN you learn to attract women better than you can now?

Yes.

So, do those things. =)

LAST THOUGHT:

Think of a woman's "drama" as a little girl throwing a temper tantrum and beating her tiny fists on your big, steady, solid man-chest.

It's adorable haha. ;-)

Why You MUST Break Rapport with a Woman Sometimes (not just build it)...

I got a great question from a VIP client the other day...

Here's what he wrote in:

"Dear Jim,

I am a subscriber to your emails and love your material. I can't get enough of your info products. I got a quick question.

You mention breaking rapport in AAKH and in The Good Guy Guide...

How does breaking rapport increase a woman's attraction? Can you give me an example, please.

I don't think you explained this well enough.

This is an excellent question and the answer is critical to your dating success so I decided to share my answer with you here in the newsletter today:

Why You Must BREAK Rapport with Women...

Hi D.H.,

Thank you for your email sir...

Glad to hear you're enjoying our material so far!

To your question...

Here are 3 examples of when you should break rapport with a woman and how it increases her attraction when you do it correctly:

Example #1: When you're on a first date with a woman a lot of guys will just agree with everything a woman says...

And, if they have a lot in common with her, they'll constantly say things like, "OMG...Me too!!!!! Wow, we have SO MUCH in common!!!!"

Well, that doesn't build any tension (= attraction).

So, instead, a guy should break rapport by stating his true opinions when he genuinely disagrees with her (without saying she's wrong or being disagreeable)...

And I would even recommend breaking rapport even when you do actually have a lot in common with a woman.

Because without any tension there's no attraction.

So, if both of you are like, "Me too! Me too!" on everything, it's better to say something like, "Wait, you like X band? That's it, I have to break up with you now... ;-)" even if you DO like that same band...

Then you can say, "Just kidding, I like Nirvana too. Duh."

Or you can say, "Uh oh...I think we might be too similar...if you keep being so awesome I'm going to have to break up with you..." ;-) if you find yourself sharing all of the same tastes and preferences with her.

Just make sure you break rapport and get a little tension going at some point or there won't be any "spark."

Make sense?

It's that TENSION that builds attraction...not connecting with her (that's rapport).

You need BOTH.

And why would disagreeing with a woman sometimes vs. highlighting how much you have in common with her be attractive to her?

Well, there are several reasons this might be the case...

First of all, too much familiarity KILLS attraction (familiarity = family = you can't/don't want to DATE your family...).

That's why you should always close the door when you use the restroom even if you've been with a woman for 25 years: Too much familiarity breeds contempt and destroys attraction and positive romantic feelings...

Secondly, when you always agree with her, she interprets that as you seeking her approval even if you're not.

And, if you're seeking her approval, that means you're not on her level or above and you're being needy (or she interprets your behavior this way subconsciously) = she CAN'T be attracted to you.

Third, a woman doesn't want to date herself with male private parts...

She wants to date YOU.

She wants to date someone who brings something unique to the table.

And she wants to know who YOU are and where YOU stand. <==She can't get to know you and she won't be able to trust you/know where you stand if you just go along with whatever she thinks and wants all the time.

And, lastly, if you're not able to share your true opinions with her, and stand up to her when necessary, how will you stand up to the world and draw a line in the sand for her and possibly your family when she needs you to later?

See, she interprets the way you deal with her as the way you will deal with the world...

That's why she might get upset with you in the short-term when you're strong with her and hold your ground about something, but she will RESPECT you more and be more ATTRACTED to you as a mate long-term.

And here's the thing: Is it really "nicer" to hold back your true tastes, preferences, and opinions vs. stating what you really want or what you really think about something?

Of course not.

It's just weaker.

And you're NOT being a jerk when you state your true opinion about something or disagree with her as long as you're not saying she's wrong and you're right... <==This is the key distinction.

See, there are actually THREE levels here:

1. The stereotypical "nice" (weak) guy who goes along with whatever a woman says in an attempt to maintain his "connection" with her...

2. The jerk who puts her down and thinks his tastes and opinions are superior to everyone else's...

3. The gentleman who realizes that we all have different tastes and opinions and that it's a good thing to share them and allow others to share them too.

So, again, you're not being a jerk when you disagree with her or share an opinion that differs from hers...

You're actually showing confidence and internal strength = she will be MORE attracted to you even if she's a little frustrated in the moment (as long as you're not putting her and her opinions down).

And, if you DON'T share your true opinions, disagree with her sometimes, and stand up to her when you should, then she will LOSE attraction for you because you're simply demonstrating weakness; you're not actually being nice.

Remember: The most attractive bone in your body is your BACKBONE.

And here's another thing: It's okay for a woman to feel a little frustrated with you or upset a little bit with you sometimes...

It might be hard to believe, but it's true.

And, if she never feels like that with you, then you're probably not being the most attractive version of yourself.

Because frustration is very similar to attraction in the beginning stages of dating and understanding this principle is key to your success.

Listen, if a woman is a little frustrated that you're not chasing her like every other man she's ever met and because you're not caving to her every demand, that's a GOOD thing because later on she'll get to experience the LONG-TERM benefits of feeling strong attraction and love for a great guy (you).

And if a woman is a little upset with you in the moment because you firmly yet gently disagreed with her about something, that's a GOOD thing because now she will get to feel increasing attraction for you and maybe release some of that tension with you physically. <==This is good for both of you.

So, you have to think about what's best for both of you over the LONG-TERM; not be afraid of what might happen in any given moment. <==This makes you a truly good guy (and a strong, brave one at that) vs. a "nice (weak) guy."

Do you have what it takes to respectfully let her know who you are and where you stand?

That's what she wants to know.

Example #2: You also want to break rapport with a woman by teasing her playfully...

Especially after giving her a compliment.

So, "You're SO beautiful..." is a compliment and it's not really very attractive to say something like this...

On the other hand, "You seem like a really cool person (a lighter compliment)..." followed by, "it's too bad I'm not attracted to you at all (playful tease while smiling with your eyes so she knows you're being playful)" ;-) is VERY attractive.

You can also subtly break rapport in this scenario by asking her to share more about herself with you instead of teasing her if you want:

"You seem like a really cool person Melinda (a lighter compliment)..." followed by, "I'm curious: If you hit the lottery jackpot and never had to work again, what would you do then and why?"

And why is breaking rapport like this MORE attractive than just saying, "Hey, I like you...wanna get married next week?" on your first 2-3 dates?

Well, because if you're already 100% sold on her before you even get to know her, that will KILL her attraction for you and your connection with her will fizzle.

On the other hand, if you ONLY push her away/break rapport then she'll think you're a jerk and if she has average or better self-esteem she'll eventually stop dating you.

However, if she knows you're interested in her AND you're not completely sold on her yet and you want to see MORE from her, then her attraction for you will keep growing until it becomes an uncontrollable bonfire of desire. <==This is the code to the safe...interested and not completely sold/not needy/not sure yet/indifferent at the same time.

So you have to both build rapport and break it.

Strategically of course.

Remember: Attraction = She has some of your attention but she doesn't have ALL of you yet.

Okay, here's one last example:

Example #3: If you ask a woman out and she declines your date invitation without offering you a specific day and time when she can meet up with you, you should break rapport with her by not contacting her again.

You can finish your "texting convo" if you want, but after that, don't contact her again.

Why?

Because if she's not interested in you then you're wasting your time...

And if she IS interested in you and you keep texting her after she declined your date invitation you will destroy her remaining interest in you.

And it's even worse if you ask her out again right away.

On the other hand, if she IS interested in you and you cut off contact, she will realize it at some point and go, "Crap, I really like this guy...I better get my act together with him..."

Then, she'll text you and hint at meeting up with you.

And because you were able to break rapport when she behaved in a way you didn't appreciate, she will RESPECT you more and she'll be more attracted to you when you finally do go out with her again vs. losing respect for you and interest in you when you TOLERATED her bad behavior.

Make sense?

Awesome.

Remember: If you want a woman to become more attracted to you over time and eventually fall deeply in love with you OR even if you just want to hook up with her, then you have to build AND break rapport with her.

When Should We Say, “I Love You” to a Woman?

Ahhh, those "3 magic words" that "women love to hear..."

But do they really though?

Well, like most things when it comes to male/female dynamics, the answer is IT DEPENDS...

So let me give you the foundational principle behind saying I love you right away (and then we can get into the details later):

Saying "I love you" or expressing your feelings for a woman CANNOT (ever) make her like you or love you or like you or love you more.

Ever...

On the other hand, once a woman is ALREADY deeply in love with you, those 3 words can make her feel really good as long as you don't say them too often.

So, when should we say "I love you" to a woman?

Excellent question.

And a much more important one than most men think...

When should we say, "I Love You" to a woman?

So here's a quick guide to saying "I love you" to a woman:

*You may find yourself resisting some of these ideas at first...I'm not asking you to accept them or telling you what to do. I'm just asking you to consider what I'm saying for a minute and then decide for yourself how to handle this because I'm truly here for your benefit (and for the benefit of the women you connect with), because this subject can be counterintuitive, and because it's much more important and powerful than most people, especially men, tend to think.

1. You should not say those words to a woman or tell her how you feel about her in the early stages of dating...

Why?

Many, many reasons...

First of all, even if you do mean it, chances are high that she won't believe you...

See, here's another super important principle to understand about women:

Women tend to fall in love SLOWER than men...

So while you might be interested in her at a 9.5 out of 10 after one conversation or one date, it's generally going to take her a lot longer to get to that point even if she likes you a lot right away.

And that means that women don't generally think it can be REAL that you "love" her after one or two dates.

Even worse if you've never even had a conversation with her and you've just been "crushing" on her from afar.

I mean, in her mind (and in reality) you don't even know her very well yet...

In fact, it actually takes about 2 years of being with someone to fully get to know them.

So, how could you be in love with her after just a couple of dates when you (truly) barely know her?

Exactly.

You can't.

And most (all?) women are going to think about it this way.

What you're really saying, then, if you say, "I love you" on the first date is:

"I love the way you look, I have a huge crush on the image of you I created in my mind, my interest in you is SUPER HIGH, and I don't need to see any more than the surface level of your personality that we've already explored...

I mean, you look good, have a nice smile, and you've been nice to me so far...what more could a guy ask for?!

I'm sold.

Now, let me sell you on me and why you should love me too."

I know, it says a lot right?

And none of the things it says are good for you (or for her at the end of the day).

So, DON'T say those words in the early stages of dating (or express how you feel in general - same thing). =)

Instead, SHOW HER how you feel.

When you ask for her number, ask her out on a date, go for a kiss, and then ask her out again, YOU ARE TELLING HER that you're interested in her...

You're just doing it in an attractive way with your ACTIONS vs. verbalizing your feelings with your mouth.

You're not "holding back" or playing games at all even if your feelings for her are super strong...

You're just communicating your feelings in a better, more attractive way.

And:

Secondly, just like we already talked about, telling a woman how you feel DOES NOT raise her interest level...

And, because it can easily be way too much way too soon for her, it CAN lower her interest level (this is one of the biggest causes of falling female interest).

And here's the thing:

The ONLY thing we are focused on in the early stages of dating a woman (the first 6-10 dates) is RAISING HER interest level...

So, if telling her you love her or telling her how you feel CANNOT raise her interest level in you and it can lower it, should we do it?

Up to you boss. =)

2. It's okay to say, "I love you" once she says it to you FIRST...

Why?

Because when she says it she's really saying, "My interest in you has risen to at least 9 out of 10...good job!!! I'm so glad you kept your mouth shut until now so I could keep increasing my feelings for you."

And, at this point, you can say it back to her as a reward for her raising her interest in you and for being an amazing woman so far.

Just like giving a woman flowers, once she's in love with you it's a reward for her being an awesome person and it makes her feel good but giving her flowers before that can be seen as an attempt to "make her like you more" and it can make her sick to her stomach if she's not there yet.

Remember: She DOES NOT want to hear "those 3 magic words" if she's not already deeply in love with you...

I mean, would you like it or even care if some random woman you weren't attracted to at all told you she loves you?

Of course not...

You have to care FIRST before those words feel good to you.

And, until her interest in you is 9 out of 10 or higher, those words won't make her feel the way you want them to.

So just wait until she's deeply in love with you (for sure) and then you can say them.

Make sense?

Excellent.

3. Even after she's in love with you, you should say, "I love you" to a woman infrequently...

And, instead, SHOW her that you love her by following the maintenance program that keeps her in love with you (see the Attract and Keep Her System for this)...

I mean, lots of guys (and women) out there say "I love you" to their partners and then treat them like sh*t and take them for granted.

Because it's easier to say the words than to do the actions required to show someone you love them.

But if you want her to stay deeply in love with you, then you must follow the maintenance program to show your love and keep those words to a minimum or at least back them up with your actions.

Plus, on the other side of this, we want these words to have VALUE and for them to be SPECIAL...

So try to limit how often you say them.

Save them for special occasions where they can really be impactful.

Examples of special occasions when it's good to say "I love you" to a woman:

-You ask her to marry you and she says, "Yes!!!"

-On your wedding day...

-After she has your child...

-After she was fired from her job and had 16 other bad things happen to her in one day and she still bought you your favorite snack on the way home and brought it to you...

-On your 25th wedding anniversary...

Etc.

Now, here's another thing:

Don't always say "I love you" back to her every time she says she loves you...

Sometimes, when she tells you she loves you, just say, "I know..." =)

Sometimes, ask her, "How much?" ;-)

Sometimes, ask her, "What do you love about me the most?"

Etc.

And then, sometimes, say, "I love you" back.

Do not get into a pattern where she can say those words just to hear them back from you or start to count how many times each of you say them vs. the other.

And if she asks you, "Do you love me?"

Sometimes, say, "Almost as much as you love me..." ;-)

And then, sometimes, say, "Of course I do. You're easy to love."

You get the point...

4. And then, if she gets frustrated that you're not saying those words enough and she lets you know about it, then just say:

"Would it make you feel better if I said it?"

And if she says, "Well, yeah..."

Then say, "Ok, ready? I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you...is that better? ;-)"

And then go back to SHOWING her how much you love her by the way you treat her and saying those words on special occasions only.

Alright, so that's how we should handle saying "I love you" to a woman...

Those 3 little words can be more powerful than we think so be careful out there. =)

Qualification: Increase Attraction and Deepen Your Connection with a Woman at the Same Time...

Have you ever gotten an email or a letter from a credit card company saying, "Congratulations, you are PRE-APPROVED for a new credit card (or credit limit increase)?"

Well, let's say you actually want a new card or more credit...

When you apply to accept their offer, do you feel the same way as you do when you're applying for a job or applying to a university?

Of course not...

I mean, they could still say no at the end of the day, but they're almost guaranteed to say yes because you have already passed the first step of qualifying for the new line of credit before you apply.

Now, how does this apply to your dating life?

Great question...

Qualification: How to Increase Attraction and Deepen Your Connection with a Woman at the same time...

When most guys meet a woman they're attracted to, here's how it usually works:

It is assumed by the man (and probably by the woman as well) that she is PRE-QUALIFIED or PRE-APPROVED and he is not...

Now, of course, a woman can still turn a guy off every once in a while, but 95% of the time she's the one who's pre-approved.

So, it's usually the man who feels like he's in the weaker position.

Well, what if we turned this situation on its head?

I highly encourage you to flip the "pre-qualification assumption" from now on.

In other words, when you meet a woman you're attracted to, assume that you're pre-qualified to be with her.

Of course, she can still end up not being interested in you...

However, if you act as if you're already pre-qualified and you're trying to find out if she is a good fit for you vs. thinking you have to completely prove yourself while she doesn't have to at all your behaviors will give you the best chance with a woman naturally.

And here's the thing: When you're applying for a loan it's a one-sided affair...

The loan officer can accept or reject your application.

And when you buy something it's a one-sided affair.

You just decide that you want that item and buy it.

Dating is a two-sided affair.

Both of you are applying for the loan and both of you are deciding to accept or reject. Both of you are buying and selling at the same time.

That's the actual truth.

So the problem is that most men treat dating like a one-sided loan application process when it actually goes both ways.

So, if you treat dating a woman like BOTH of you are deciding if the other one is a good choice or not, which is just the simple truth, you have a major leg up on your competition.

And, the behaviors that follow from this general attitude are also wildly attractive to women.

For example, when you QUALIFY a woman, it makes her more interested in you (assuming her interest is above 0 to begin with).

On the other hand, when you qualify yourself to a woman, which is essentially anything you do to try to convince her to like you, she becomes less interested in you and loses attraction.

So, you want to assume that you are a good choice for her (of course you are...I mean, you're not better or worse than anyone else but you're pretty dang awesome) and treat the situation like you're just trying to see if she's a good choice for you also. <==This will make you the most attractive version of yourself naturally if you do it correctly.

Remember: The less you try to convince a woman to like you, the more likely it is that she will actually like you.

Ironic how it works...

So, from now on, when you're dating a woman, qualify her instead of qualifying yourself to her and both of you will be better off.

How to Qualify a Woman...

Now, you can start the process of qualifying a woman by giving her some approval for what she's shown you already and then also asking her to show you more of herself so you can see if you should be more interested in her or not.

When you do that, you communicate to her that you're not completely SOLD on her yet.

In other words, she's not fully qualified to be with you yet...

She might qualify, but you're not sure.

You'll have to get to know her over time and SEE. <==This is the most successful approach to dating if you want to be in a long-term relationship with a woman who actually has deep feelings for you.

So, don't be so sure about a woman so soon...

Let things play out and make sure she's truly qualified to be with an awesome guy like you based on her character and the things you're looking for in a woman beyond looks. <==This also has the side benefit of making her more attracted to you...

And here's one powerful way you can start to qualify a woman instead of constantly qualifying yourself to her during your first conversation with her or during your first date:

After you banter with her and playfully tease her for a little while, give her some approval (she's qualified a little bit now because she's having fun with you and being a cool person):

"Haha, hey you seem like so much fun..." <==Light compliment/a little approval/she's qualified a little bit...

Then, ask her to show you more (she still isn't 100% approved yet to be your girlfriend or continue dating because you want to get to know her more first):

"Tell me, if you hit the lottery jackpot and never had to work again, what would you do then and why?"

Her answer to this qualifying question will tell you something about her character.

And the fact that you WANT to know more about who she is as a person:

1. Makes her feel more connected to you...

2. Makes her realize that you're not completely sold on her yet and want to get to know her better so that if you end up being with her it's because you like her for her personality; not just her looks...

3. Makes her more attracted to you because now she's selling herself to you...

4. Makes you stand out from every other guy she meets who is constantly trying to sell himself to her...

Etc.

Make sense?

Awesome.

This is great for you and for her at the same time.

You should do this in your first conversation or on your first date with every woman you want to date.

And, if a woman has been bantering back and forth with you and then she also tries to give you good answers to your qualifying questions, you can assume she's interested in you and either take her some place where you can be alone and go for a kiss etc. or just realize that she will probably go out with you again if you ask (wait 4-8 days and then ask her out again).

At that point, attraction has been established...

So you can take it wherever you want it to go from there.

If you want to have short-term connections, follow the steps we cover inside The Good Guy Guide...

And if you want a long-term relationship, follow the steps inside the Attract and Keep Her system.

And don't forget: If you want a girlfriend, you want to make sure she's a good fit for you over the course of 6-10 dates, not decide you want to be with her after seeing her for 6 seconds...

And if you want to get married to a woman it takes about 2 years to fully get to know someone and understand exactly what you're getting into.

So, when you meet a woman you're attracted to, slow things down and see how her personality unfolds over time.

And try to enjoy the process.

Ironically, this approach is likely to make her more concerned about moving things forward more quickly.

And everything's better when it's her idea. =)

Should a Man be a CHALLENGE Even if a Woman Likes Him A Lot?

In general, for best results, a man should ask a woman out for a (short) first date, wait a few days, and then ask her out for a second date instead of trying to spend 24/7 with her right away...

And we should generally keep our first 2-3 dates with a woman relatively short and we should be a CHALLENGE with a woman in general as well.

Because challenge is what women want (respond to positively in terms of increasing their genuine romantic interest in you).

But what if a woman is clearly super into you right away?

What if it's her idea to spend a lot more time together much faster than that (after all, it's also true that everything's better when it's her idea)?

Do we still have to be a challenge with her (the answer, of course, is YES we follow the same exact steps every single time with every woman no exceptions if we want a woman to fall and stay deeply in love...but WHY if she already likes us a lot)?

That's what top student M.G. asked me about recently...

Here's the situation he found himself in and his questions about it:

"Yo Jim,

I hope that the below message finds you well...

I had an interesting situation recently.

I met a girl, she is 26 years old, and we moved with everything very quickly. It was a specific situation - she came to my town and met me here and spent the whole time with me - her decision.

Everything was going extremely well, fast and intense - even holding hands while on a walk (I never do that).

After a few days I told her that I can travel to her town, as I have an opportunity from the company. She told me that it's awesome and she invited me to her place...

We spent a great Sunday together - perfect date.

Then she asked me to stay till Wednesday at her place, but she also told me that she has a lot of work on Monday.

So...I told her that's completely fine and I want her to focus on work.

I also suggested that I can take a hotel or go for a night to one of my friends, so that she can easily focus on work. She didn't want that and again told me that she would like me to stay at her place on Monday and Tuesday night.

So...I asked her what time works for her on Monday (what time will she finish her work). She told me that 20:00~ works, but I can come earlier.

I took a takeaway dinner for us and came to her place approx 20:00. But then...she was very nervous and wasn't really interested in spending time with me.

So in the end...we had a bit of argument and at the end I told her that I don't want to continue the argument and will give her the space she definitely needs...

I left her apartment and said, "Look, everything was going great, I don't see any reason for us to make it worse. We had a great night yesterday together and I'd prefer us to have that good memory. Everything is fine, let's talk later."

And then she kissed, hugged me and looked very happy. And I left and didn't talk to her yet. I also sent her just one text message on Monday night - she asked for it: "Hey, everything is fine, as promised, I'm in bed already."

End of the story. Now I'm not going to contact her until she does that first...

What is your opinion about the situation?

Do you believe I should give her more space than she asked for?

Should I contact her after a few days, if she doesn't do that?

Is it normal for a woman to behave like that? Was it some kind of a boyfriend test or something?

What do you think?

Why was she so happy when I calmly told her that I'm leaving?

And here's my reply:

Should you give a woman SPACE even if she likes you a lot?

M.G.,

Great to hear from you sir...

First of all, let's start off with the positives:

1. She was clearly highly interested in you...

And the fact that you also were looking for this and were aware of it as a factor is excellent.

As you know, most men only focus on their interest in a woman when the #1 factor in any (heterosexual) romantic relationship is female interest.

2. She was inviting you to stay and it was her idea for you to spend so much time together...

Remember: When something is a woman's idea it's much better for you.

3. You handled the situation very well in the end...

I'm assuming that you have high interest in her; yet, you were still able to notice what was happening and take a step back in a smooth, positive way.

This takes a lot of awareness and internal strength, so well done on how you handled the way that went down - absolutely excellent.

Now, let's go deeper into this situation to see what else is involved:

"What is your opinion about the situation?
Do you believe I should give her more space than she asked for?"

This is a classic case of too much too soon...

Here's the deal:

Even if a woman's romantic interest in you is 7 or 8 (or even 9+) out of 10 when she first meets you...

You still shouldn't spend so much time with her right away.

Even if it's HER idea.

You MUST create time and space away from each other so that she can miss you, think about you, wonder about you, etc.

This is what makes a woman's interest go up and eventually turns into her being deeply IN LOVE with you.

Spending too much time together too soon puts out that fire.

Not only does being a challenge raise female interest in the early stages of dating (and solidify it over the course of 2-3 months if it's already 9/10), demonstrating SELF-CONTROL also increases female interest while showing a lack of self-control in terms of giving her too much attention too soon lowers female interest.

She knows you're dying to see her and yet you still control yourself and stick to the system anyway because you understand that it's best for both of you LONG-TERM = WINNING.

This is what ultimately allows a woman to fall and stay deeply in love with you.

And even if a guy is amazing with women and does everything else right it doesn't matter - the fact that so much time and energy is being invested too soon will always threaten female interest level.

Think about it like this:

We want a woman to be a little FRUSTRATED that you're not spending enough time with her in the beginning stages of dating vs. getting tired of you...

Frustration is very similar to attraction in the early stages of dating.

It's like that cookie that her parents won't let her have...she throws a tantrum when she doesn't get it...

Then, after being good for a while, she finally gets to have the cookie.

That's what female interest is like.

And, if she always gets it just because she wants it, and she gets 1000 cookies in one weekend...

Well, now she has a stomach ache and doesn't want any cookies for a long time.

And that's not good for you OR her.

Again, it doesn't matter how high her interest is to begin with; this amount of time and energy this soon will almost always crush her interest or at least make her back up at some point.

Because she should be chasing you and you should be giving your attention to her sometimes; not every time.

That's what being a challenge really means:

Yes, I'm going to take you out for an amazing time...

I'm going to lead...

And I'm going to ask you out again.

But I'm not going to spend time with you all weekend twice in a row when we just met just because we have high interest in each other.

I'm going to be a challenge and show my self-control because I know that's better for you, me, and our connection in the long-run.

I want to make it all the way home; not get left on second base after the passion fizzles out.

So, in this case, instead of offering to get a hotel, you should have just DONE it. Even if she wanted you to stay with her.

You are the LEADER so you make that decision and stick to it no matter how much you want to see her/she wants to see you.

It's this self-control that is the biggest gift to a woman.

If you did this, it might have helped keep her coming toward you (which is obviously what we want).

It's hard to say because I wasn't there to see how everything played out the entire time, but you did do many things too fast too soon just because she had high interest in you (and because you have high interest in her).

Now, if you're just going for hookups, then it's not a problem...

However, if you want to be in a long-term relationship with a woman who is deeply in love with you...

Then we want her interest to go UP and it can't if we do these kinds of "time binges" with a woman too often too soon.

And that's one reason why long-distance almost never works out for a long-term relationship:

Distance KILLS challenge.

First of all, it communicates to a woman that you don't have any good options in your home city/town...

"Why is this guy putting in so much effort with me when we just met? Aren't there any good women where he lives that he can date? Hmmm...."

Even if she has high interest in you, this kind of interest-killing subconscious thought will start to creep in.

Secondly, it creates a situation where it's easy to spend a LOT of time together in one sitting...

Even if you're great with women, spending a weekend with someone for your first or second date is always going to be worse for the long-term stability of a romantic connection than starting with a short first date, letting her think about you and wonder about you after the date, taking her on a fun but not all day second date, letting her think and wonder about you, and then taking her on a fun third date (that still shouldn't even be a full day)...

In other words, giving a woman small doses of you over time is always better than blasting her away with a firehose, even if you're the most awesome man on earth.

And even if she wants more of you - this is what we want and we feed this feeling vs. sating it. We eventually give her a taste but we don't ruin her cravings.

We keep her coming back for more.

The only time this can work out is if a woman's interest is 9+ out of 10 when she first meets you and already wants to marry you right away...

But even then there's a good chance that even her high interest at that level will be crushed into oblivion by too much of you too soon.

You either break even with her or you lose; so it's never a winning move no matter what.

Remember: Until a woman asks you, "Where is this relationship headed anyway?" or brings up the idea of being in a relationship with you, we're not all the way there yet with her so we have to stick to the plan.

"Should I contact her after a few days, if she doesn't do that?

Yes, I would give it a few days and then text her...

If she doesn't live close to you then I wouldn't consider it a possibility for a long-term relationship until one of you moves close to the other.

THEN that's when things can start.

So, for me, if she lives far away (it takes more than 30 minutes or so to get to her place from yours), then I would consider her a "fun friend" and flirt with her sometimes and then when she's coming to town or I was going there I would invite her to hang out.

I would not put her on the relationship track regardless of how good she looks or how amazing she seems.

So, in that case, try to keep it light and fun when you text her...

And, if she lives close enough to you for you to go for a romantic relationship, I would text her in a few days and ACT AS IF NOTHING IS WRONG.

Just try to move forward as if everything is good, cool, fresh and optimistic.

Let the past go and "reset" - you will lead this process.

Then, just wait a while longer and ask her out on your next date.

And treat it as a second or third date vs. a 6th date.

Just focus on keeping it light and FUN with NO PRESSURE about "where things are going" re: a relationship.

If she still has any interest left and she agrees to your date and shows up, just follow the AAKH system from there.

If not, then it's time to move on - lesson learned.

Yes, it's normal for a woman to act like that if she was highly interested in a guy and got too high of a dose of him too soon. Even a good drug doesn't feel good anymore if you do too much. =)

And this is also why she was calm and happy when you mentioned you were leaving - you understood what was happening, took care of it, and now she felt relieved.

Next time we just won't allow this to happen in the first place.

Now, there might be something else going on here that I'm not aware of based on your email - she may have other circumstances that I don't know about...like maybe she has a husband or boyfriend and started to feel guilty.

But based only on what you said in your email the only conclusion I can draw is that this is simply a classic case of too much too soon with a woman who was highly interested.

And that's what I hate to see the most: it's one thing if a woman simply isn't interested...

That's the most common cause of male dating and relationship problems: Low Female Interest.

But when a woman IS interested and the guy makes some avoidable mistakes that lower her interest it hurts me almost on a physical level. =)

Because it's unnecessary for that to happen if we just follow the system we talk about inside Attract and Keep Her without making an exception for a woman we "really really like," who seems to like us a lot right away, or who happens to be extra good-looking, etc.

If anything, we should train ourselves to stick to the plan even more when we really like a woman.

The Pattern that INCREASES a Woman’s Interest in a Man…

There's a BIG difference between leading and chasing.

When it comes to attracting a woman:

Leading is good...

We always want to be leading.

On the other hand, chasing is bad...

We never want to chase if we can avoid it.

So, what's the difference between leading and chasing?

Understanding this difference will allow you to apply it in your real life, which will lead to MUCH better results if you're not applying it already.

And even guys who haven't thought about this difference explicitly are successful with women in direct proportion to the amount they lead without chasing.

In fact, my best-selling Attract and Keep Her System was almost called "Always Lead, Never Chase..."

That's how important this distinction is when it comes to women.

See, sometimes behaviors that seem like chasing are actually leading and sometimes things that you might think are leading are actually chasing...

So, once we fully understand the difference and start to take action on it, awesome things start to happen.

And that's exactly what one of my top students asked me about last week...

Here's what he wrote in:

"Hey Jim,

What is the difference between “you chase her” and “she chases you?”

For example, I went to my friend's place last night and there was a girl there that I met a week before and I didn’t know if I should come to her and say hello or just wait for her to come to me (not chasing).

And another story from that night: We all were inside the house having fun...

I waited to find the moment to be one on one with her. Then it happened; she went outside to get some fresh air.

I was thinking I should go after her but then I stopped myself before going outside because I thought I’m chasing her!

Is that chasing Jim?

Jim btw I have to tell you that you have changed my life from 0 to 8 and it's always improving because of you.

I wish I could give back to you, thx!

Here's what I told him:

The Pattern that Drives Up a Woman's DESIRE for YOU...

Hey A.S.,

Great to hear from you sir!

First of all, I think the fact that you're thinking critically about what it means to NOT chase a woman already means that you're on the fast track to success...

Here's the deal:

What you want to do is LEAD without chasing.

For example, when you see a woman you want to meet, LEAD by going up to her and starting a conversation....

But don’t chase her by talking to her too long.

Or, if she doesn’t want to talk to you, then don’t keep pressing.

Later, if she keeps talking to you for a bit and things are going well, LEAD by asking for her number or just giving her yours...

But don’t chase her by bombarding her with lots of texts.

You want to take ONE step forward AND THEN let her take a step toward you before you lead the next step forward. <==This is one of the biggest keys to women...

You wait until she also takes a step toward you = not chasing.

You talking multiple steps toward her without her stepping toward you at all = chasing.

So if you text a woman, she doesn’t respond, and you text her again...

Yep, that’s chasing.

The first time you texted her wasn’t.

Going up to a woman and introducing yourself isn't chasing...

Then, if she engages in the conversation with you, she's taking a step toward you, so it's not chasing to ask for her number...

And if you text her once and she texts you back, that's her taking a step toward you so that gives you the green light for the next step: waiting 4-8 days and then asking her out on a date.

On the other hand, if she doesn't text you back and you keep texting her...

Yep, that's clearly chasing.

Making one move isn't chasing - making multiple moves without her showing some interest in you after you make that one move is chasing.

Make sense?

Excellent.

***The only exception to this is that if you make one move, she doesn't respond, and then you WAIT for an extended period of time and then make one more move after that waiting period, that can also work in rare circumstances because you didn't chase after her right away. However, most of the time, thinking about this possibility will just be a way to engage in wishful thinking so we should focus on the main pattern as much as possible.***

I mean, here's the thing:

A gorgeous, amazing woman isn't going to ring your doorbell while you're playing Xbox or watching Hulu, grab your face when you answer the door, start ferociously making out with you, take you on amazing dates and lots of adventures over the course of a couple of years, and then ask you to marry her...

So, clearly, we have to make a move.

The key is to make A move...

...AND THEN STOP, pull back, and wait instead of rushing head-first into rejection like most super hungry men do out there. <==This concept of "push-pull" / leading without chasing leads to ultimate success with women...

So next time, go up to her at the party...

Talk to her for 3-5 minutes and try to have a fun conversation...

Then say it was nice meeting her and that your friend is calling you over or something like that.

Leave the conversation before she wants you to if you know you’ll both be there for a while...

Then, a while later, come back to her and talk to her again.

And this time ask for her number.

Also, if she goes outside it IS chasing her if you follow her outside UNLESS you have (make up) a reasonable excuse why YOU wanted/needed to go outside. =)

“Oh hey, just came out to make a quick call. What’s up?”

Etc.

Remember: Lead by taking the first step.

If she does one back, lead the next step.

If she doesn’t, STOP and don’t chase her.

It’s very simple once you get it down.

And, it works! =)

This is the PATTERN that raises female interest level.

All you have to do is apply it consistently the way we talk about inside the Attract and Keep Her system and you're golden.

What PRESELECTION Means and How it Helps You Attract Your Ideal Woman…

Did you know that one of the (only) four things that raise female interest is a thing called PRESELECTION?

Preselection basically means that if a woman believes other women are interested in you, she will like you more...

And it can be extremely powerful when it comes to male/female dynamics...

So, in this newsletter, I want to make a very important distinction about preselection that can really help you when it comes to attracting and keeping a high-quality woman...

And then, after we talk about that distinction, I'll answer a question about preselection from a top student so we can go even deeper into this subject and get even better results with women.

Here's the thing:

A lot of guys think that they need to date a lot of women in order to be "preselected" or show a woman that they have a lot of women in their life or that they're pursuing many women in order for preselection to work.

And that's not really how it works...

What Preselection REALLY Means...

Preselection does not necessarily mean that you're currently dating lots of women or that you're interested in lots of women.

Preselection just means that a woman thinks other women on her level are interested in you.

And it's about women being interested in you; not you being interested in them.

For example, one of the reasons women are attracted to famous actors and musicians is because they know many other women on their level are also interested in those guys.

It's not the only reason but it's a powerful one...

And they might not ever even SEE another woman with a guy like that or know whether or not he's even dating anyone and it still works because the fact that he's "preselected" is assumed and implied.

For preselection to raise a woman's interest in you, she just has to think that other women are probably interested in you.

So you don't have to post super obvious photos of you with tons of women to appear "preselected..."

In fact, if a woman gets even the slightest whiff of a hint that you are trying to show her that you are "preselected," it will backfire big time and she'll lose interest in you.

Also, telling her about all the other women you like isn't a good idea (because, again, it's not about the women you like; it's about the women who like you).

In fact, it's better if she never actually sees you paying attention to other women and she just feels it deep down in her bones without ever consciously perceiving it.

So, all you have to do is ACT like you would if many women were interested in you and she will assume that you are preselected and that's what makes her more interested in you. <==Read 3X...

Because, one more time: This is NOT about YOU being interested in other women...it's about other women being interested in you.

Now, on the other hand, when your behavior shows her that you probably don't have other women who are interested in you, that lowers her interest in you.

So, here are three quick ways you can make sure preselection is working for you at all times even if you've never had a girlfriend before:

1. Whenever you're deciding what to do in a situation with a woman, ask yourself:

"If I had 8 beautiful, amazing women that I really liked texting me and asking me out constantly AND I also liked this woman a lot, what would I do then?"

Then, follow your own answer.

I call this the "Golden Question" and it's a great rule-of-thumb.

If you consistently follow it, preselection will be working for you behind the scenes like a dedicated, silent, invisible female-interest-raising wingman.

Bonus: Ask yourself, "If I had 8 attractive, awesome women interested in me right now, would I enjoy being with this one and keep dating her? Is there something unique about her that I really like? Or, would I spend more time with the other 8 and drop her?"

2. Qualify her...

Listen, if you're on a date with a woman and you DON'T ask her open-ended questions to get to know her more because you have specific standards for the kind of woman you want to date and you want to see if she meets those standards over the course of several dates before you get too excited about her, she will assume that you are NOT (very) preselected.

Why?

Because if you truly have lots of options in terms of the women you can be with (you are preselected) you'll have specific things you're looking for in a woman beyond looks...

Because many good-looking women (on her level of looks) are interested in you, so, if you're going to spend a lot of time with one and commit to one, then you have additional things you want in a woman.

And you won't keep dating a woman who doesn't treat you well or who doesn't have those things.

Make sense?

Excellent.

So, to make sure preselection is working for you in the background, think about what you want in a woman beyond looks and then actively look for those things on your dates instead of just giving a woman 100% of your interest before you even know her.

If you do that without being a jerk about it (you're looking for the right woman for you; not judging women as "good" or "bad" in general), she will feel it and it will work for you.

3. Move slower (like you're not hungry or in danger)...

This one might seem small but it can have a big impact:

When you're with a woman you're interested in, move slower...

If you do, you're signaling preselection (you're NOT needy...why? Well, one reason could be that many women are interested in you = preselection).

So lean back when you're talking to her instead of leaning in and out of the conversation...

When you turn your head to look at something, do it s.l.o.w.l.y...

Blink slower...

Grab your drink and take a drink slower...

Walk a little slower...

Etc.

Don't be too affected by the environment around you, fidget, or jerk your body around.

Communicate with your body that everything is good with you and that there's not a lion chasing you...

You have all the time in the world and you're not focusing on any particular outcomes.

All of these things signal preselection (and some of them also communicate other female-interest-raising qualities as well).

And that means that if you do them all, she'll feel like she's the special winner out of all the women you could have chosen to be with when you finally commit to her after 8-12 weeks because you like her specific personality and character traits vs. getting rid of you at some point when she starts thinking you have no other options so you're settling for her or you're only interested in her for her looks.

Remember: You're the kind of guy your ideal women are interested in.

If you believe that and ACT like it, preselection will always be working in your favor...

Even if there's only one woman you're interested in right now.

And, if you don't believe it, do whatever it takes to get there so you can enjoy the success with women that you deserve and so your ideal woman can finally fall deeply in love with a great guy - you.

Does Preselection Work if The Women Who Like You Are Less Attractive Than the Woman You Want?

So, now that we know a lot more about preselection, let's go one level deeper...

Here's a question I got about preselection from a top student recently:

"Dear Jim,

I have a question about Preselection...

Does it work backwards?

I went swimming at a lake with some friends tonight. I was interested in one of them in particular...

To make her more interested in me, I invited a different friend to come who is somewhat less attractive than her (lower maturity, less physically fit) but who is interested in me in an attempt to show preselection.

It seemed to work out really well!

I was surprised at how effective bringing a less attractive friend to the activity raised the interest of the more attractive friend.

It got me thinking...Does Preselection work backwards?

For instance, if I am interested in a particular attractive woman would it lower her interest if women who are less attractive than her like me, or would it have no effect on her interest in me because they aren't on her level?

This is definitely an "advanced" question that highlights how preselection works even more...

Here's my reply:

J.M.,

Here's the bottom line:

Another woman being interested in you will NEVER make a woman less interested in you (unless you act on it in a way that turns her off)...

This phenomenon (preselection) has been causing problems for millennia when all of a sudden a woman's best friend or sister starts liking the man she's dating when she wasn't very interested in him at first. =)

And this is also why once you have a girlfriend or a wife you start to notice women checking you out more and paying more attention to you...

It can be a very powerful force.

See, the woman who already likes you has already put you through her "female filter" so the new woman doesn't have to...

Preselection is like a shortcut to attraction that cuts out some of the normal steps in the process.

So, yes, if a woman is within a point or two of another woman in terms of looks, and it's obvious that she likes you, that can spark preselection in the more physically attractive woman.

And, honestly, it works in general...

I mean, if your office has 7 average women and 1 super attractive one and all 7 average ones like you and always pay attention to you and laugh with you, etc. that might pique the interest of the more attractive one.

It's just more powerful if the other women who are interested in you are on her level - it increases the pleasure she could get from "beating" them, increases how good she can feel about herself if you choose her out of all your good options, and increases your "value" in her mind.

Any other women being interested in you can trigger preselection in the woman of your choice...

It's just that it's more or less powerful depending on the context.

Alright sir, I sincerely hope this discussion was helpful...

Remember: It's harder to attract one woman than it is to attract them all.

Reflect on this for the rest of the day and then put it into practice in your real life so you can reap the benefits.

Even (especially) if you just want to be with one amazing woman.

And ask yourself the golden question over and over and then act accordingly as often as possible.

How to LEAD with a Woman without being CONTROLLING...

I generally hate it when people talk about having a "balance..." in life for the most part...

First of all, it's usually cliché, meaningless advice.

And, sometimes, it's clearly better to hyper-focus on one or just a couple areas of life and prioritize...

However, when it comes to a man's success with women, striking the right BALANCE is a crucial concept.

This balance simply MUST be there or something will go wrong:

The ideal behavior for a man in terms of attracting a woman for one night or a lifetime is a perfect BALANCE between leading and being a challenge...

Between taking steps forward and taking steps back...

Between taking action and controlling himself, pulling back and waiting, and not reacting at the right times.

That's actually one of the main reasons dating can be difficult:

Sometimes we should take action and sometimes we should pull back and wait...

And when you're super interested in a woman your mind will be working against you and giving you all kinds of bad ideas about what you should do. =)

So, how can we lead things with a woman and give her that masculine "dominance" that she craves while also respecting her, not taking advantage of her, or being controlling with her?

Well, that's exactly what a top student asked me about a few weeks ago...

Here's what he wrote in:

"Hi Jim,

I think I have a great question for your newsletter...

Here goes:

We know women want a man who is dominant, yet they want someone who is dominant, but NOT controlling. The question is how do you SAFELY demonstrate dominance without coming across as controlling?

This is such an excellent question because it cuts straight to the heart of male/female dynamics...

Here's my reply to D.E.:

How to LEAD with a Woman without being CONTROLLING...

Hi D.E.,

Thanks for writing in and thanks for the question...

The answer is simple and complex at the same time.

When it comes to the kind of men women have to choose from, let's break it down into 3 main archetypes:

1. Nice guys (weak guys)...

These guys put her on a pedestal and she's unable to feel the genuine feelings of attraction and love for them because there's no tension and she can't look up to them or respect them...

A nice (weak) guy demonstrates that he's weak when it comes to her so she thinks he'll also be weak when he's interacting with the world with her/for her.

2. Jerks...

These guys either tear her down or have inflated egos and think they're better than her. They don't respect her.

A jerk demonstrates that she's inferior to him or that he's superior to her in his mind.

While she can feel the emotion of attraction for him because the tension is there, because he doesn't respect her, a woman with average self-esteem or better will eventually leave him.

He also demonstrates that he is controlling over time...

And that means only a woman with low self-esteem will stick around long-term.

3. GENTLE MEN...

These guys don't put her on a pedestal but they don't put her (or themselves) down either...

They lead but they don't put up with her sh*t...

They are good to her but they call her out when necessary.

They lead things forward but are open to her input, respect her, and control themselves while NOT trying to control her.

The gentleman demonstrates that he is strong with her and therefore she understands that he can be strong for her while also having a softer side that she can earn by being an awesome woman.

She feels a high level of tension with him AND she feels extremely comfortable with him at the same time.

She RESPECTS him (the foundation of genuine feelings of female love) and she feels that he respects her.

He's looking for an awesome woman and when he finds one he leads the process of attracting her properly, he allows her to fall deeply in love with him, and then he doesn't take advantage of her just because she's a good woman with high interest in him.

This kind of guy is like a unicorn to a woman...

Because he strikes the perfect balance of being a gentleMAN, she can't help falling deeply in love with him and staying deeply in love with him (as long as she was interested in the first place and he wants to be with her).

So how can we be a gentle man that is dominant yet not controlling?

Well, we have to push AND pull...

For example, when you ask a woman out on a date, you are pulling her in...

When you wait 4-8 days after your date to ask her out on the next date, you are pushing her away.

Then, when you ask her out again after a few days have passed, you are pulling her in once again.

We MUST do both if we want her to have genuine, deep feelings for us.

We have to lead things forward AND not chase her...

We have to take active steps AND not rush into rejection...

We have to take a step forward and then control OURSELVES and not try to control her...

For example, let's say you ask her out on a date...

That's leading...

Then, let's say she declines your date offer and doesn't offer you a specific alternative day and time when she can meet up with you...

Now it's time to pull back and wait (or move on).

It's time to control yourself and NOT take further action.

If she's interested, she'll reach out to you at some point and make an effort to see you - at that point you can ask her out one more time if you want.

And she'll be more interested because you didn't just keep asking her out while you would have crushed any remaining interest she had by continuing to ask her out after she declined your offer.

And, if she just wasn't interested, it wouldn't have mattered what you did...so you can safely move on if she never reaches out.

So, you want to lead the process forward, but you don't just keep taking steps forward; she must also take a step before you take the next one.

Remember: You can't control HER and you shouldn't try...

When you make a "move" and she doesn't pass a checkpoint (she declines your date invite/doesn't show up for a date/doesn't kiss you back etc.) you have already done everything you can do.

There are no more moves to make. =)

Except controlling yourself and not reacting/taking more action toward her.

The "game" is over unless she makes a move toward you at that point.

When you understand that you cannot control her actions or responses yet you CAN control yourself and you lean into leading while controlling yourself (by not reacting and pulling back/waiting/moving on at the right times), you will find yourself with an abundance of female interest all around you.

Knowing and accepting what is actually within your control and what is not and basing your actions on that reality is a BIG part of not being controlling with a woman.

Also, you want to lead AND be open to her response/input...

For example, when you meet a woman for coffee or take her out for a meal, just pick a (any) table and lead her to it...

UNLESS she offers you a better place to sit - then just go with her suggestion if you want.

Assume you will choose where to sit until she offers an alternative. Then you can be flexible with it.

And when you ask a woman out on a date, ask her for a specific day, time, and activity...

If she has a better idea, doesn't like the date idea you came up with, and/or would prefer to meet up at a different time (and she's interested in you), SHE WILL LET YOU KNOW...

And then you can go with her suggestion if you want.

So LEAD and then GO WITH THE FLOW...

Put yourself out there and then be open to her input.

This is that golden balance that makes women more attracted to you if you're just going for hookups and fall deeply in love with you if you want a long-term relationship.

You want to be a "nice" (good) guy with an EDGE or an attractive man with a softer side...

Remember that when it comes to male/female dynamics a "nice" guy just means a weak guy with no BACKBONE who doesn't take the lead...

We are STRONG and GENTLE at the same time.

We have high INTERNAL STRENGTH so we can work both sides of this with ease.

When it comes to a woman, we don't change our tastes and opinions for her and we express them freely; at the same time, we respect her reality and don't expect her to change hers either...

Changing your tastes and opinions to gain a woman's approval is called "preference falsification" and it lowers female interest.

Over time, so does not respecting her reality as well.

A jerk tries to tell a woman she's wrong (or at least that he's right)...

A nice (weak) man changes his opinions and preferences to match hers...

A strong, attractive man sticks to his opinions and respects hers at the same time.

Both of these "sides" take INTERNAL STRENGTH and internal strength raises female interest...

So, we also show our internal strength by taking risks (going for a kiss) AND being cool with all outcomes (if she doesn't kiss us back it's no big deal - we are proud of ourselves for taking the action, not "getting" a specific outcome, which we can't control).

We take a step forward, then we pull back, look around, listen, and wait...

We show a woman that we have high internal strength and that we value ourselves...

And, we are a CHALLENGE.

So, while we never try to control her, we lead everything forward and control ourselves to the maximum degree.

And that's why the right woman for you literally cannot help but fall and stay deeply in love with you...

Or at least go home with you if you're not looking for a relationship.

One simple tip to be more CHARMING with women...

I want to keep this newsletter brief and just give you one simple tip that can make you more attractive and charming to a woman that you can start applying immediately...

So, what is that simple tip that makes you much more charming to a woman?

One simple tip to be more CHARMING with women...

Here it is:

Blame your attraction to her on her...

Here's what that means:

You want to kind of pretend that you don't like that you're so attracted to her, that it's her fault that you feel that way, that you can't help it, and that she almost has magical powers that she's using against you and you wish she would stop.

Why is this attractive?

Well, simply put, you are pulling her in and pushing her away at the same time.

Which is the key to women.

You're saying, "Yeah, I'm starting to like you more but I'm not necessarily happy about it and I wish you would stop being so cool and making me like you more and more. Otherwise we might be in trouble and "bad" things (hooking up, getting into a relationship) might happen..."

Without saying all of that directly.

It might sound strange to a man but this full spectrum of yes + no at the same time is the most attractive combo to a woman.

Also, you are expressing interest in a fun, light, attractive way.

And she can take it in because it's not heavy.

This is extremely charming.

Here are a few examples of how to apply it:

1. "Stop being so awesome and making me like you; it's not fair..."

2. "You know I'm trying not to like anyone right now. So please stop making me like you..."

3. "If you keep looking at me like that, I might have to kiss you...But I don't have to like it."

4. "I know what you're trying to do and it's not going to work. I refuse to like you any more than I already do..."

5. "Stop looking at me like that or we might be in trouble..."

6. "Listen, it's really not fair what you're doing...being all amazing and making me like you. Please stop."

7. Once she's already in love with you and you're in a relationship: "Stop distracting me, it's not fair! You know I'm trying to work right now and you're making it almost impossible." ;-)

Last thing: Drop these lines in like a spice...

Use one every once in a while; don't use them in every conversation with a woman.

Look away to the side a bit after you say one of these lines with a smile in your eyes instead of waiting for her reaction.

And try to only do it when you talk to a woman in person, not via texting.

Make Everything HER IDEA...

Most men, even with the amount of information out there these days, have no idea that the concept of CHALLENGE even exists when it comes to attracting women...

And challenge is what women really want.

So, when a guy first starts learning the truth about attraction and love, he starts being more of a challenge...

And, because he's being a challenge, he starts getting MUCH better results with women.

However, a lot of guys hit a wall at that point because they:

1. Forget that the main purpose of being a challenge is to raise a woman's interest in you and to actually be with her (not to ultimately push her away completely)...

2. Sometimes start only pushing women away and forget that we also have to pull them in at the right times in addition to pushing them away at the right times (or they just don't know how to pull a woman in properly once they learn how to push her away by being a challenge)...

The BALANCE of pushing and pulling in the exact right amounts at the right times is the key to women whether you want to attract a woman for one night or for a lifetime.

3. Don't completely understand what being a challenge means and how to apply the concept properly.

For example, you should wait 4-8 days after each date to ask a woman out again...

However, if she asks you out before that, you should ACCEPT her invitation unless she asks to meet up the same day (then you say, "I'd love to hang out but I'm busy today...can we meet up tomorrow [or another day 2-3 days from now is even better] instead?")...

Why?

Because when she asks you out it's HER IDEA...

And that's the whole point of being a challenge in the first place: raising HER interest in you and making being with you HER idea.

If it's her idea to kiss you, hook up with you, be with you, become your girlfriend, and/or marry you then you're winning the "game" (and so is she).

And everything's better when it's her idea.

Remember: The purpose of being a challenge is to raise her interest level and encourage HER to chase YOU...

Because when she's coming toward you she can't reject you at the same time. <==Read 3X...

And because when you hang back and wait before you make your next move instead of rushing into rejection it allows time and space for her interest in you to grow.

And it grows the most when she makes a move toward you.

So, we want her coming toward you as much as possible.

And that's why most men are not so successful with women: They make as many moves as possible toward a woman and never allow her to make any moves toward them.

And so how can you set things up so that a woman you're dating at least has the opportunity to come toward you while still taking the lead?

Great question...

Make Everything HER IDEA...

Let's go through a few examples of how this actually plays out in real life...

Starting with a question I got from a VIP client a while back.

Here's what he asked:

"A woman I'm dating messaged me to say that she is there and noticed that I am online but have not messaged her much...it is the first time that she has admitted to following me to see that I am online so I think that this reflects an increase in her interest in me.

I think that I should ignore this message but what is the best way?

Thanks.

-K.S."

First of all, this question reflects a solid knowledge of how attraction works in the first place...

Secondly, it's a great question that really shows how things play out in the real world.

Here's what happened: He kept his cool and didn't message her a lot like every other guy she's ever met who liked her.

So, she noticed it...

And then she asked him about it...<==In other words, SHE brought it up.

And when a woman asks you about something like that, it's a strong indicator of interest.

So, here's how you handle it:

Instead of playing hard to get or ignoring this kind of incoming message, you say something like, "Oh, are you saying you'd like me to message you more often?"

And then if she says, "Well, yeah!"

You say something like, "Alright cool, I think I can do that =)"

Make sense?

So, it's NOT okay to message her a lot before she brings it up (this is you being a CHALLENGE)...

However, when she brings it up, you ask her if she wants you to message her more often, and then if she says yes you can message her a little more often after that (still not a lot - maybe 10% more for example).

Why?

BECAUSE IT'S HER IDEA...

Make sense?

Awesome.

Remember: It's better for a woman to be frustrated that she's NOT getting enough of your attention/you and then tell you about that (now it's HER IDEA and then you reward her for showing her interest - pull her in at that point) than it is for you to do too much too soon and then she gets tired of you.

Let's go through a few more examples so this really starts to sink in and so you can apply it to a lot of specific situations:

Let's keep going on the texting thing for the next one...

Let's say a woman texts you something like, "Hey, why haven't you asked me to meet up again yet?!" after 3 days have passed since your first date with her...

You can say, "Hey! I was just about to text you and say we should meet at Wine Bar X on Thursday...does 7 pm work for you?"

You can ask her out before the 4-8 day window BECAUSE IT'S HER IDEA (still, you should ask her to meet up with you a couple days later, not tonight or tomorrow if you can).

Or, if she texts you, "Why haven't you texted me yet mister?!"

You can say, "I did..."

Then she might say, "When?!"

Then you say: "Just now silly =)"

Then move the conversation forward: "How are you?" or "What are you up to?" etc.

Since she texted you and asked you about it, you can text her (back) even if you wouldn't normally text her yet. Because. It's. Her. Idea.

We want to be a challenge because it allows HER to eventually be more direct and cough up her interest in you.

Alright, let's do a few more for the road:

When you're having your first conversation with a woman and she says, "Are you flirting with me?"

You can say, "Why, do you want me to flirt with you?" ;-)

When you start liking a woman, you can say, "Hey, stop making me like you. It's not fair and I won't stand for it." <==This is a funny line and it implies that your interest in her is her idea (secret plan). Plus it pulls her in and pushes her away at the same time = brilliant and charming.

When you want to go for a kiss, you can say something like, "If you keep looking at me like that I might have to kiss you later..."

Then, her response will tell you if you have the green light or not...and, if you do, it will be at least partly HER IDEA to kiss you.

When you kiss a woman, pull back from the kiss FIRST. Then, if she pulls your head back in or looks at you with hungry eyes, it's HER IDEA to kiss more.

In the beginning stages of dating, DO NOT ask a woman to meet up with you on a Friday, Saturday, or Holiday...

Until she brings it up: "Hey, why don't we ever go out on the weekends? Do you have a girlfriend or something?"

THEN you can start taking her out on Fridays and Saturdays.

Otherwise, don't until she's your official girlfriend and you're committed to each other.

Okay, last one:

In my opinion you should say "I love you" to a woman VERY infrequently. Like, once or twice a year...(SHOW her you love her via your actions because that's what really counts - give her everything the AAKH system recommends instead of words).

However, if you've been with a woman for a while, and she brings it up: "You know, I noticed that you don't tell me you love me very often..."

Then you can say, "Would it make you feel better if I say it?"

And if she says, "Of course it would! Every woman wants to hear those magic words."

Then you say, "Okay, ready? I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you...There, I said it. Is that better?" :-)

And then you go back to SHOWING her you love her by treating her properly while keeping your mouth shut about it for the most part.

Remember: Lead things forward with a woman by taking slow measured steps forward while being a challenge AND THEN, when she makes a move toward you, reward her for showing her interest because once something is HER IDEA, you're GOLDEN.
